So an interesting story. I didn't get many chances to see Piper O'Possum when they were the mascot of the Nick Jr block as I had to do school. Wish I knew about the Nick Jr on CBS block that existed in the early 2000s as I probably would've loved watching it (I didn't have Noggin btw). Even by elementary school I continued watching preschool shows primarily on Playhouse Disney and PBS Kids. For some reason I never really cared about how old I was as the shows themselves were still a lot of fun to watch. Even if they were quite simple and some talked to the audience like in the case of Playhouse Disney's JoJo's Circus which I really liked.
Sure I watched shows that was aimed at my age and even some for a general audience but like nowadays I felt preschool shows had a lot of charm to them. Plus they were educational and I was cool with that. If anything me watching preschool shows past the intended demographic helped kept my interest in these kind of shows. Although I didn't watch much TV after 2007 thanks to discovering YouTube I still kept up with what was going on with these shows, even watching Max and Ruby and Bubble Guppies in 2011. I wish others my age could see the value in these kind of shows including PAW Patrol but oh well.
