Pups playing
I suppose my answer is "other". Just to name... a few things.
- The pups used to be more like dogs; digging holes, chewing on bones, among other things. It seems like they rarely ever do that kind of stuff anymore. When was the last time they actually slept in their pup houses?
- Pup-Fu. Both were fine episodes, and it's a shame it got ditched after season 4.
- Liver treats. It was always cute seeing the pups go crazy for them all the time... now it rarely gets brought up, if at all.
- It was also cute whenever the pups got so excited for the next episode of Apollo the Super Pup. We don't see them watch too much TV anymore either, huh?
- Honestly, just seeing the pups' personalities shine and whatnot, instead of just them playing at the Lookout for about ten seconds before cutting away to the humans. Sometimes we get more than that, but it feels rare anymore.
- I certainly miss when Marshall was allowed to be more useful during rescues, as opposed to someone's harness cable magically passing through solid objects to save a kid from a tree instead.
- I could swear there was also a better sense of variety back in the earlier seasons, too... both in terms of responders and the kind of rescues they had to deal with. I feel like "Pups Save Friendship Day" would never happen in the modern seasons.
- Your mileage may vary on this, but I liked that the earlier episodes had a more down-to-earth feel to them, in a manner of speaking. Basically, rescues involved helping a kid deal with his fear of the dentist, helping Mr. Porter with a cake contest, and just generally helping the community and whatnot. Nowadays, PAW Patrol's trying too hard to be an action show, what with dinosaurs and dragons running amok, giant robots attacking Adventure Bay, villains uprooting castles, etc. That's not to say these moments can't be fun at times, but there's no denying things are very different now compared to when things first started.
I miss when the pups had character and personalities.
Pups playing😔🐾
@Zuma&RockyFan27 i know what you mean, their personalities were expressed more in the earlier seasons, like how rocky really likes fixing and recycling things and hates getting wet. The only pup who's personality is still expressed greatly is Marshall and maybe rubble
And their unique voices back then also kinda helped understand their personality, now they all sound similar
I agree with pretty much everything here. I don't miss just Chase and Marshall's friendship, but all of their friendships.
What do you think?
