As of a couple days ago, nickelodeon got a new logo. So, i was trying to update the nick page with the new logo but I couldn't get it to work so if @WolfieBoi524 or @Daffy Duck fan girl update the page and add the updated logo that would be great!
So I've been a fan of media targeted to preschoolers ever since I was young myself and figured I'd list off some reasons why I like this sort of media a lot and why I wish those outside the target demographic would give this sort of content a chance instead of hating on them blindly.
1. Many shows are bright and colorful. Personally I find them really appealing to look at.
2. They have lots of imagination put into them and can involve lots of fantasy elements such as talking animals and vehicles. Something that I honestly feel isn't utilized as much in media meant for older audiences especially those for adults.
3. The plots are simple and sometimes repetitive but I find them to be quite comforting to watch nevertheless. It's something one can get used to if they watch these kind of shows a lot.
4. There is nothing inappropriate about these shows as they have to be kid friendly. Although there are plenty of kid friendly shows meant for older kids, I think preschool shows can still be entertaining without having to hide in adult jokes and such. I don't mind these jokes but I also like the idea of being able to laugh and be entertained while keeping things safe for all ages.
5. They usually teach some morals and lessons that kids can use in real life while of course teaching stuff like ABCs and 123s. Although they aren't too deep it doesn't hurt for older audiences to watch as a reminder of sorts. After all I feel people sometimes forget these sort of lessons.
6. Although some may argue against this, many shows for this demographic are made to sell toys which I do like as they are fun to collect and are a way to support any show especially in the case of PAW Patrol.
7. There are lots of puppet shows and cartoons for this demographic. Many seem to complain about the lack of cartoons or how bad they claim they are without ever mentioning shows for preschoolers. There is a huge amount of content many older audiences are missing out on simply because they are more concerned about their social life or what others may think about them.
So yeah a long list but I feel people are being too harsh on these kind of shows without realizing the good they have. Not only shows but music and YouTube channels as well. I'd like to hope one day these kind of shows become popular among older audiences just as they are with preschoolers as I feel the world might be a better place that way.

So an interesting story. I didn't get many chances to see Piper O'Possum when they were the mascot of the Nick Jr block as I had to do school. Wish I knew about the Nick Jr on CBS block that existed in the early 2000s as I probably would've loved watching it (I didn't have Noggin btw). Even by elementary school I continued watching preschool shows primarily on Playhouse Disney and PBS Kids. For some reason I never really cared about how old I was as the shows themselves were still a lot of fun to watch. Even if they were quite simple and some talked to the audience like in the case of Playhouse Disney's JoJo's Circus which I really liked.
Sure I watched shows that was aimed at my age and even some for a general audience but like nowadays I felt preschool shows had a lot of charm to them. Plus they were educational and I was cool with that. If anything me watching preschool shows past the intended demographic helped kept my interest in these kind of shows. Although I didn't watch much TV after 2007 thanks to discovering YouTube I still kept up with what was going on with these shows, even watching Max and Ruby and Bubble Guppies in 2011. I wish others my age could see the value in these kind of shows including PAW Patrol but oh well.
Hey, guys. So I was wondering, if Mayor Humdinger actually won the battle, which would mean the PAW Patrol lost, or a sad scene were to happen, what sad song would play? I'll give you a couple of suggestions.
"Live and Let Die", George Martin, Linda McCartney, and Paul McCartney
"Still Without You", Amanda Blush
"Cecie's Lullaby", Steffany Gretzinger
Now it's your turn! Pick one of the three songs on the list or come up with your own and we can talk in the comments!
I'm honestly concerned if this movie will do well. Between people on Twitter getting upset over Kim Kardashian being a voice actor in the film, COVID-19 still being an issue, and the fact that no film based on a preschool property has ever been a box office success makes me have little hope this movie will do well financially. It doesn't help that Paramount+ won't have the movie for 45 days despite most other movie studios having their latest films on both streaming and in the theaters. I would like to be proven wrong as I feel this movie could really help bring mass appeal to the PAW Patrol franchise but I don't know if that will happen.
Apparently the pilot was animated by Nelvana in 2D but I'm not sure if 2008 is the right date or not. I'm confused just how real this whole thing is since I've read the history behind PAW Patrol's development.
I honestly wonder what kind of shows Spin Master and Nickelodeon are considering doing. Can't say I'm surprised at this announcement since Nickelodeon is famous for spinning off their most popular shows.
