"Aqua Pups: Pups Stop a Giant Squid" is the second segment of the 20th episode in Season 9 of PAW Patrol.
Summary
The Aqua Pups must save the Merpups' golden orb release when Moby lures a Giant squid into Puplantis.

Synopsis
Inside Adventure Bay's Museum, Cap'n Turbot, Francois, and Zuma are finishing up an exhibit to teach the people of Adventure Bay about the Mer-Pups and their culture. In return, the Mer-Pups are planning a celebration in which they will release their golden orbs from the sea into the air where, for the first time, they will soar high above Adventure Bay to mark the opening of the exhibit. Meanwhile, Moby, who is hiding in a treasure chest inside the exhibit with McSquidly, thinks of a plan to meddle and ruin the celebration until Cap'n Turbot brings out a special chest containing the siren shell of the silver squid. Learning that the shell has the power to summon a giant silver squid, Moby swipes the shell after Cap'n Turbot and Zuma leave to greet what they believe are early visitors and Francois leaves to tidy up the exhibit. After Ryder offers some extra assistance with setting up the exhibit, the group hear Francois cry for help and rush inside, only to learn that the shell has been stolen. Using his detective skills, Chase sniffs out a piece of seaweed and follows a trail of wet tracks leading to Moby, who escapes with Mcsquidly into his vehicle and retreats into the ocean.
After Ryder summons the Aqua Pups to the PAW Patroller, the vehicle rides off the pier and transforms into the Whale Patroller, suiting the pups up in their Aqua Pups gear. Once the pups are briefed on their mission, Ryder assigns Chase to use his detective skills to find Moby, Zuma to use his lobster claw to take the shell back, and Coral to guide them through the underwater terrain. With that, the team deploys with Chase and Zuma being the first two to slide down into their respective vehicles, and set off to Squidland.
Meanwhile, outside the entrance to Squidland, Moby arrives and blows on the siren shell. After the first blow, nothing happens, but on the second blow, the giant silver squid appears, fascinated by Moby's golden orb, giving Moby the idea to lead it to Puplantis where it can sabotage the celebration by taking the other Mer-Pups' golden orbs. After the Aqua Pups arrive, Chase notices a trail of fresh suction cup marks from the giant squid's tentacles leading to Puplantis, and the team set off to follow it, unaware, however, that the giant squid and Moby were outside of Squidland the entire time they were there, camouflaged.
Once the trail ends, on Ryder's command, Zuma deploys his sonar and spots Moby on a different course to Puplantis, almost nearing the city. With Skye already there to check the status of the celebration, Ryder warns her to keep an eye out for Moby and the giant squid, but just as she receives his warning, the two zoom past her. Startled, the Mer-Pups abandon their golden orbs, which, after Moby blows on the shell, the giant squid swipes. After the team arrives to the scene, Zuma attempts to distract and lure the giant squid with his lobster claws out of the city, but Moby blows on the shell again, luring it right back in. However, as he and McSquidly exit his sub, the giant squid spots McSquidly holding Moby's golden orb and takes him, knocking the shell out of Moby's grasp in the process before taking it as well and leaving the city.
With his friend now in danger, Moby chases after the giant squid alongside the Aqua Pups, pleading for their help. Fortunately, with the use of Coral's bubbles and Chase's light adding a shine to them, the two distract the giant squid from the orbs, allowing McSquidly to escape with Moby quickly chasing after him. Using his sub's net, Chase catches the golden orbs before they can float away while Zuma retrieves the siren shell with his lobster claws. With both items safe and secure, the team, using Coral's bubbles, lead the giant squid back to Squidland before returning the golden orbs to Puplantis.
After the Mer-Pups, from Coral's translation, thank the Aqua Pups for saving the city and their golden orbs, they release the orbs and watch them float up to and beyond the surface where the citizens of Adventure Bay watch in awe, marking the opening of the Puplantis exhibit in the museum. Despite his brief moment of happiness to be reunited with his friend, Moby grows disappointed as he catches a glimpse of the Mer-Pups' celebration.
