Biography

Ashley Griffis is a storyteller with a superpower: turning curiosity into adventure and learning into play! Most recently, she story-edited the last three seasons of Nickelodeon's Blaze and the Monster Machines, and her other writing credits include Netflix's Word Party and Math Party, Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol, and the Emmy-nominated Alma's Way. Before diving full-time into writing, Ashley flexed her creative muscles as a development and production executive, contributing to shows like Julie’s Greenroom, Dinosaur Train, Dot, and Splash and Bubbles. Armed with a Master of Science in Child Development, she combines her love of storytelling with a deep understanding of how kids learn and grow, weaving life lessons into every script.

When she’s not writing, Ashley can be found snuggling her rescue pups, moonlighting as her kids’ personal snack sommelier, or testing out new storylines with her favorite audience—her inner child. With every story, Ashley hopes to spark laughter, wonder, and a love of learning in kids everywhere.
