Synopsis
At the Big Truck HQ, the pups are just about to launch their toy water rockets when Al appears, wanting to hangout with them after having a long haul. With their launch area wide and clear, Skye sends off her rocket with Rubble going right after, his flying even higher. To get his rocket to fly the highest, both Rocky and Al give the rocket's pad a double pump, launching it high into the sky and through the clouds. However, it goes so high that the pups can no longer see it, so Chase offers to help find it and runs off with the others tagging along.
Meanwhile, in the desert, Mayor Humdinger is trying to contact his mother, but is unable to get a decent reception. To get a better signal, Humdinger conjures up a plan to redirect the big dish, which would redirect the satellite in space to send its signal from Adventure Bay to Foggy Bottom, and has the Kitten Catastrophe Crew get to work. However, the kitties accidentally damage the big dish in the process, causing the satellite in space to damage as well, falling into Earth's atmosphere. Without the satellite's signal, the pups are unable to contact Ryder via their pup tags and vice versa, Mr. Porter is unable to contact his customers for their deliveries, and the citizens of Adventure Bay are unable to use their phones.
Using the PAW Patroller's telescope, Ryder spots the satellite falling out of orbit and calls out to the PAW Patrol to return to the Big Truck HQ where they are suited up in their Big Truck Pup gear and briefed on their mission. He assigns Chase to use his drone to track and intercept the falling satellite before it splashes down in the bay and Rocky to check out the big dish that controls the satellite and make sure it is working properly. With that, the team deploys with Chase and Rocky being the first to deploy in their respective big trucks, and set off with Ryder.
As the people of Adventure Bay are still unable to use their devices, Mayor Humdinger included, Ryder and Rocky soon arrive in the desert where they spot the broken big dish. However, before Rocky can start the repairs, Ryder calls Al via the CB radio to use his big truck's big claw to lift the big dish. After Al lifts the dish back into place, Rocky deploys his big truck and uses his mini vehicle, its ratchet arm, and his pup pack's claw to multitask with fixing the dish. Meanwhile, at Adventure Beach, Chase deploys his big truck and its drone, spotting the satellite and using his drone's claw arm to slow its fall, but the satellite is falling too fast. With Ryder's suggestion, Chase tries to guide the satellite with his drone to the desert as Rocky, with Skye's assistance, finishes repairing the big dish. Unable to hold the satellite any longer, Chase's drone releases it, but Al, using his truck's big claw again, catches it before it can crash.
With the big dish repaired and the satellite secured, Ryder calls on Rubble to use his pup back shovel to dig a couple of holes and Marshall to use his hose, filling up one of the holes with water. Al places the satellite in the other hole and with a countdown from the team, the water from Marshall's hose blasts the satellite all the way back into orbit, restoring everyone's signals, including Mayor Humdinger's, but just as he answers his mother's call, his phone's battery runs out.
Outside of Mr. Porter's café, after Mayor Goodway thanks the PAW Patrol for restoring Adventure Bay's signals, Al and the group bid each other farewell as he leaves to take care of more deliveries.
