Charles E. Bastien, also known as Ted Bastien (October 14, 1962 – March 21, 2023) was the second director for PAW Patrol, with Jamie Whitney being the first. He was also known for his work in Handy Manny, and Mike the Knight. He began directing from Season 3's episode "Pups Save Apollo".

On March 21, 2023, he passed away at the age of 60 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada after a battle with cancer. He will be replaced by Paul Brown.[1]
