The PAW Patrol were going to the Dino Wilds with Cap'n Turbot and Francois to ship some supplies for Dr. Turbot. The Turbot cousins were excited to see their family there. They packed some cameras for taking pictures, and some seaweed chips as their road trip snack. After everyone got everything loaded in the Dino Patroller, they all went off to the Dino Wilds. They drove into the tunnel entrance, through the tunnel, pass the waterfall, and entered the Wilds.
The Dino Patroller parked near the Dino Rescue Center, where Dr. Turbot, Taylor, and Rex were waiting. As everyone got out of the Patroller, Dr. Turbot and Taylor were happy to see Cap'n Turbot and Francois. Ryder and the other pups were taking the supplies into the office, after it's all done, they could play Rex's favorite game, "Duck, Duck, Dino." Dr. Turbot would like to show her brother and cousin around the wilds, but she had to help Benny, who's got a sore throat. While, they were waiting, Cap'n Turbot and Francois decided to stroll around the jungle.
As they were strolling, Francois started to eat some seaweed chips. Then suddenly, a male Triceratops appeared out of the trees. Francois began to feed him with a few chips to get some perfect pictures of him. Cap'n Turbot was trying to warn his cousin that he might get them into trouble soon. Francois accidentally got his camera strap caught onto the Triceratops' front horn as he took out his camera, trying to get some pictures of him. Then, the Triceratops was walking away with Francois sliding next to him. Cap'n Turbot came to help, but then, a Pterodactyl saw the seaweed chips as he flew down to catch them, causing the Triceratops to be scare and ran off with the Turbots riding on his back. And, the Pterodactyl was chasing them. Cap'n Turbot started to the PAW Patrol.
Back at the Dino Rescue Center, Ryder and the pups were playing "Duck, Duck, Dino," until Ryder got the Turbot's call for help. Ryder summons the pups to the Dino Tower. As everyone is geared up, Ryder told them about the Turbots stuck on the runaway Triceratops and being chased by the Pterodactyl, they had to help them out. Ryder hired use his drone find the Triceratops, Skye to use her plane's harness to air lift the Turbots off it, and Rex to get it to calm down during the rescue. As everyone was ready, they hopped into their vehicles, and off they go to save the Turbots.
As they were looking, they heard a roar from the Triceratops. That means, they were on the right track. Chase send out his drone to locate the Turbots. The drone had found the Triceratops' tracks and some seaweed chips. Skye was following the drone to find the Turbots, while the rest followed her. They found the Turbots and the Triceratops at last, but the Pterodactyl was still there too, Skye won't be able to close with it around. Ryder asks Chase to make a distraction, and Chase launched some tennis balls to lure the Pterodactyl away. Now, Skye was able to air lift the Turbots off the dino. She got Cap'n Turbot off, but before she could get Francois, the Triceratops ran towards the giant snappy plants, trying to eat them. But, luckily, they miss.
Then all of the sudden, the Triceratops stopped at the edge of a cliff near the tar pits, but he slid and fell towards the bottom, letting Francois off into the pit. He's now stuck and also sinking. Ryder called Robo-Dog to bring the Dino Patroller to the tar pit. As it's on its way, the Triceratops was getting closer to Francois. He couldn't get the picture because his hands are completely stuck in the pit. As the Dino Patroller arrives, Robo-dog used its grabber to lower Rex to the bottom to calm down the Triceratops, while they get him hooked up. As he was all hooked up, Robo-Dog lifted him out and back onto higher ground. Francois was next to be saved, but he could reach Skye's harness with his arms stuck, so Rex used his dino-claw to pull him out. After Francois was free, Robo-Dog lifted him and Rex out of the pits.
Everyone returned to the Dino Rescue Center, and Benny is finally feeling better. Cap'n Turbot thanked the PAW Patrol for saving him and Francois, and Ryder said, "Whenever you're on a runaway Triceratops, just yelp for help." Francois showed the pictures off their stroll around the Dino Wilds, even though some of them were a little covered in tar. Then, Cap'n Turbot said, "I've never seen you so perfectly portrayed." And, it makes everyone laugh.
