Bio

The Duke of Flappington is, as his title implies, the Duke of Flappington. He shows obsessions with birds and more specifically, eagles. He is also cousins with the Princess of Barkingburg.

Personality

The Duke of Flappington appeared to be polite and charismatic at first, but he turned out to be quite power-hungry. He teamed up with Sweetie, promising to let her become queen, only to betray her and use the gems to lift several buildings so he could rule Barkingburg from the sky. He also exploited Skye's phobia of eagles for all it's worth, and he showed himself to be truly wicked and spiteful when after being foiled of lifting the castle into the sky, he tried to destroy it by dropping the clocktower, Big Benji, onto it. Thankfully, his evil act was foiled by Skye, but his wicked act had been spitefully driven by refusing to let his cousin have the castle if he couldn't, and he displayed a callous disregard for the safety of the citizens of Barkingburg.

He seems to care about his eagle sidekick Jean-Claude, and hugged him in fright when their ship was going down. He is very full of hot air, as he vainly considers himself to be a great pilot when he never pilots his aircraft, leaving that to Jean-Claude, and later admitting he doesn't know how to fly during a moment of panic. But he's quick to claim credit for any impressive aerial maneuvers Jean-Claude makes.

Appearance

The Duke of Flappington is a presumably teenage boy with wavy slicked back hair with a curl near the center of his forehead. He wears a maroon jacket with fur around the collar, gold buttons, a gold royal emblem, and a black belt with a gold buckle around his waist. He wears tan pants with brown boots.

Skills and Abilities

The Duke of Flappington is a pilot of an eagle jet. However, he does not do any of the actual piloting and has his pet eagle, Jean-Claude, do all the flying for him.

He is also a skilled smooth talker and often tricks others such as Sweetie and Claw to help him with his schemes, usually having them do most of the hard work. When these schemes fail, the Duke is quick to try and make an escape, leaving whoever helped him behind to save themselves and avoid being punished.
