Emily Thorne[1] (formerly known as Alex Thorne) is a former voice actor for Zuma in the North American version of PAW Patrol. She was Zuma's voice actor from Season 1 to mid-Season 4, before it was announced that her younger brother would be taking her role.
Acting Life
Emily's passion for performance started when she was very young. At the age of 4, she had memorized the entire book "Twas the Night Before Christmas" for a school performance. You can check it out here: http://youtu.be/vbJfxza1BR4
At the age of 7, Emily (then named Alex) decided that she wanted her own web show, just like iCarly. So, she created one: The Alex Project. You can check it out at: http://www.maureenthorne.com/watch.html
At the age of 8, she was signed by Noble Caplan Abrams, a leading agency in Canada, and started to book occasional appearances and TV commercials.

When Emily was 10, she landed the role of Zuma on PAW Patrol and has been focusing her career on voice over work ever since.
In 2013, she interviewed and got the job as Chief Play Officer of Toys R Us Canada. As the national spokesperson, she travels around Canada doing interviews on TV and radio shows and does special live appearances.
Also in 2015, she landed a leading role in a Disney animated series "PJ Masks" as Romeo, a mad scientist.
2014 was been a busy year for Emily. She was recording Season 2 of PAW Patrol, and a Disney animation series while juggling the responsibilities of her role of CPO at Toys R Us Canada.
Emily has won a Young Actors Award for PAW Patrol, known as a Joey award.
Emily has also won, along with the crew of PAW Patrol, a 2015 Joey Award for ensemble cast.
She transitioned some time after 2021.
