Summary

Mayor Humdinger swipes the Dino Patroller and endangers a school of baby stegosaurus. It's up to Ryder, Rex, and the pups to come to the Dino Rescue!

Synopsis

It began at the Dino Tower, Ryder and Rocky were upgrading the Dino Patroller. Right after it's done, Ryder began to his big pup-pad to control it without someone driving it. And then all of the sudden, a baby stegosaurus appears, snatching the pup-pad from Ryder. Rex came by to help by telling him to let go. That baby is named Stevie, Rex was taking him and his other stegosaurus friends on a nature walk. He says Stevie keeps chomping things along the way. Rex continued his nature walk as he leaves with his dino friends.

And then out of nowhere, a pterodactyl snatched Ryder's pup-pad and flew off with it. And then, he dropped it because of a tyrannosaurus rex in the way. The pup-pad fell next to Mayor Humdinger, who was about to steal dinosaur eggs again with his kittens. As he looked at it, he realized he could steal the Dino Patroller for his kittens again. As he turned it on, the Dino Patroller drive away. Ryder believed if he and Rocky follow it, it would also lead to his pup-pad. So, they began to follow their big vehicle throughout the Dino Wilds.

Skye was watching the Dino Patroller on the big screen, and saw that it's heading for Rex and the baby stegosaurus. She warned Rex about it, and Rex warned the babies to move away, as the Dino Patroller drove pass by. Ryder and Rocky caught up with it, and Ryder asked Rocky to get inside and override the remote control from the driver's seat. But, Rocky needed to know how to get onto the Dino Patroller. Luckily, Ryder had found a big rocky ramp for him, Rocky drove as fast as he could to off the ramp and he used his truck's grabbers to hold onto the Dino Patroller as he lands. He got off his truck, entered the Patroller, and turned off the auto- from the remote. While he was trying to find a way to stop it, the Dino Patroller was almost to Mayor Humdinger and his kittens. As Mayor Humdinger tries to stop it, he couldn't, he didn't realize the remote is off by Rocky. The kittens hopped into their carrier for their safety. Rocky finally found the brakes and stopped the Dino Patroller.

As Rocky discovered Mayor Humdinger in the Dino Wilds, Stevie snatched the pup-pad again. Mayor Humdinger was about to capture him as Stevie was trying to run away from him. Ryder finally got his pup-pad back, but Rocky saw Mayor Humdinger chasing Stevie towards a rock bridge. They have to save him, Ryder asked Rocky, and Rex to come with him. Stevie knocked over the sign in front of the rock bridge, it was about to crumble apart. The bridge was cracking up with Stevie on it. Rocky stops Mayor Humdinger from capturing Stevie. Rex made it to the bridge and told Stevie to walk toward him slowly. But, the bridge fall apart completely, Stevie began to fall into the ravine. But luckily, Rex used his dino-claw to catch him and bring him back on solid ground.

The mission is done, and Rex's nature walk with the baby stegosaurus is done as they return to their parents. The parents thank the PAW Patrol for keeping their babies safe, and Ryder said, "Whenever there's a baby dino in trouble, just (stegosaurus roar) for help." Mayor Humdinger and the Catastrophe Crew were about to leave to Foggy Bottom, but Ryder stops them and forces them to stay and fix the rocky bridge for all the trouble they caused. Even Stevie chomps Mayor Humdinger out of his carrier. And the short ends with everybody laughing at him.
