Summary

Christmas in Dino World is interrupted when a tremor from a volcano causes a landslide that traps a Brachiosaurus, and it's up to Ryder and the Pups to come to the Dino Rescue!

Synopsis

The PAW Patrol was going to celebrate their very first Christmas in the Dino Wilds. With some help from Taylor Turbot, they started decorating their Christmas tree with a palm tree, and they had to make sure the dinosaurs didn't eat the leaves off of it. They hang it up with lights, and some coconuts as ornaments with Marshall painting them with gold, Zuma drying them off with his amphibious vehicle's fans, and Chase using his cannons to launch the ornaments onto the tree branches. Taylor even made a star for the top of the tree, Marshall and Zuma also helped to make it gold. As it was done, Dr. Turbot thinks it was beautiful. Marshall was about the star on top, but then, a big rumble cause him to fall off the ladder and the tree to tumble to the ground. That rumble came from the volcano, which of course is still active. Taylor said that Rex is going to have a big surprise for them, that he went to the volcano to look for it.

For Rex, he was near the volcano with a male Brachiosaurus named Buddy, looking for something perfect as his surprise for the PAW Patrol. He'd found a glowing lava rock and he thinks it's perfect enough, he picked it up with his Dino claw and stored it in his truck. Buddy began to reach for some leaves to eat from a tree near gorge, and Rex was impressed. Then, the volcano began to rumble again, causing Buddy to go off balance into the gorge. Rex tried to help by using his claw pull him up, but Buddy was too heavy for him and his truck, Rex quickly hook onto the tree and got off his truck, before it falls into the gorge. Now, that Buddy is stuck and unable to climb out, Rex began to call Ryder. As Ryder got Rex's call, he and Marshall hopped into their vehicles, and drove off to help Rex.

As Ryder and Marshall made to the gorge, they began to think of a way to help Buddy out. As they were thinking, Marshall accidentally pushed some boulders down the ledge. Then, Ryder came with an idea, Marshall can topple more big rocks down and Rex used them to make a staircase for Buddy to climb out.

Rex went down the gorge by using his claw to lower him down to his truck. Marshall began to use his water cannons to push more rocks down. And, Rex used his claw to make them into a perfect, smooth staircase. As it was done, the volcano began to rumble again, causing more rocks to roll towards the gorge. Rex drove up the staircase with Buddy following him. As they got out, the rocks filled the gorge. Rex and Buddy thanked Ryder and Marshall for their help, and Ryder said, "Whenever you're trapped in a crevasse at Christmas, just yelp for help."

It was now nighttime, back at the Dino Tower, everyone knew that it feels like Christmas now, that they're all together. The dinosaurs had already ate the Christmas tree, but luckily, they made something even better. Before they put the star on top, Rex gave them his glowing lava rock for the star to glow. Buddy put it on top of the tower's roof, and as Rocky lit up the tower it beautiful for Christmas. Then, the short ended with everybody saying, "Merry Dino Christmas!" And, Merry Christmas to all. And to all, a good night.
