Summary
A surprise party for a Tyrannosaurus turns into a Dino Rescue when the startled guest of honour stomps off, getting stuck in a pit full of quicksand!

Synopsis
It started at the Dino Rescue Center, the PAW Patrol and the Turbots were decorating for the first birthday for baby Tyrannosaurus Rex, Tyrese. Taylor, Zuma, and Chase were hanging up the piñata, it was Taylor's present for Tyrese. Ryder, Marshall, and Rocky were blowing up the balloons. Rex brought Tyrese to the party, but as Marshall accidentally popped a balloon, it scared Tyrese, causing to make a small mess and ran away. It's time for the PAW Patrol to do birthday dino rescue.
At the Dino Tower, Ryder, Chase, and Rex, hopped into their vehicles. And off they went to find Tyrese. As they were looking, they discovered some broken tree branches and big footprints on the ground, Tyrese must be close. Then, they a roar, which came from Tyrese. As they were following the sound, they found Tyrese stuck in quicksand. Ryder asked Rex to use his claw pull Tyrese out. Rex began to do that, but as he was trying to pull him straight towards them, Tyrese was sinking more. Tyrese would sink even further if he moves.
As they were to figure out how to Tyrese out of the quicksand, Chase came with an idea, they could use the nearby tree pull Tyrese up and out. Ryder took Chase's winch climbed to the top of the tree and hooked it up. He told Chase to pull the down towards Tyrese, and as Chase pulled the tree lower, Ryder told Rex to use his claw now, and Rex pulled Tyrese out of the quicksand, but he was heavy. Ryder helped out Rex, by using his winch to hook onto Rex's car, and pull over. As Tyrese was on the tree, Chase easily leaned it back up to bring him down.
Now, that Tyrese was safe and back to his party, everyone sang the birthday song to him. Taylor thank the PAW Patrol for saving the birthday dino. And Ryder said, "If a T-Rex ever needs a lift-up, just (howl) for help." Tyrese opened the piñata, and inside were pup-treats. And the short ended with the pups eating the treats.
