Apart from being the title, Patrulha Canina, which literally means "canine patrol" is also the name of the team.
When Marshall and Zuma were previously dubbed by Sicilia Vidal and Thamires Oliveira respectively in Season 1 and the first 13 episodes of Season 2, both were given feminine reference including the usage of feminine article a and phrases by the speakers themselves such as obrigada. After Renato Cavalcanti and Yago Contatori took over the respective roles and for the following episodes and for the redubbing of Marshall's and Zuma's voices respectively by late October 2015, the gender reference was reverted back to male, where a has been substituted by o, the masculine singular definite article, and the speakers phrase obrigado is used instead, except for some episodes which have never been aired with redubbing.
The credits in television broadcast has an extra 4 seconds in the instrumental credits theme song to include the information for the Brazilian dubbing.
This dub has been given redubbed lines following the full change of feminine reference for Marshall and Zuma including the redubbing of Marshall's and Zuma's voices of any feminine reference made by other characters except for a few episodes which are still in the first version such as "Pups Save a Mer-pup.
Initially, in the broadcast on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr., "Pups Save a Show" was the first half episode while "Pups Save a Ghost" was the second half episode instead. This was reversed after the premiere of the redub of the episodes.
