Biography
Peri Segel is a Chinese-American comedy writer from Massachusetts. Peri is currently developing an unannounced live-action comedy series with Todd Komarnicki's production company, Guy Walks Into a Bar (Elf, Sully) alongside writing partner and comedian Rebecca Kohler (Schitt's Creek, Kim's Convenience). She is also developing a comedy series with DreamWorks Animation.
Previously, Peri was a writer on two seasons of Disney Channel’s The Ghost and Molly McGee and three seasons of Netflix’s Go Dog Go. Other writing credits include Nickelodeon’s The Tiny Chef Show, and Netflix’s CoComelon Lane. When she is not writing, she loves to run, solve escape rooms, and create her own card games. Her latest card game is about evil babies who commit heists, so it was inevitably titled Heist, Heist Baby.
Peri has a B.F.A. in Film and Television from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and a minor in the Business of Entertainment from NYU Stern School of Business.
