Synopsis
It started at the Lookout, Rubble was doing some DJ practice for the dance party tonight. He was playing his new beat, "Gotta Scratch." And, everyone, including Katie, began doing the new dance. the Scratch. As everyone was now doing some free dancing, Marshall accidentally bumped Cali into a dog bowl full of water, making her wet. Katie asked Rubble for a copy of "Gotta Scratch" before she leaves to get Cali dried off, and Rubble tosses her one of his CDs to her.
At Katie's Pet Parlor, Katie was done getting Cali dried off, before she played "Gotta Scratch" on her radio. The music was echoing towards a cave up on a mountain, and it's home to bats. Three bats heard the music from town, they thought Rubble's record scratching is the sound of bat squeaks, so they got out of their cave during the daytime, and follow the music. Katie was about to get Cali ready for the dance party, but she forgot to turn off the music. So before she could turn off the radio, a bat had entered her shop. As Katie was trying to get the bat to leave, Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta entered her shop to see what's going on. Then, the last two bats had entered the shop. Katie turned off the music, so Mayor Goodway can call the PAW Patrol without any noises.
Back at the Lookout, everyone was getting ready for the dance party, until Ryder had gotten Mayor Goodway's call about the bats in Katie's shop. Ryder summons the pups to the Lookout, and Marshall, who was wearing more than one pair of sunglasses, had tripped and fell, all of his sunglasses to come off and putting them on the other pups faces, letting them say, "We're cool, so cool." As everyone was ready, Ryder told them about the bats flying into Katie's shop, and Rubble wasn't satisfied with bats. Their mission is to get the bats out and back to their cave. Ryder hired to use her copter to fly the bats in a carrier back to their cave, Chase to use his drone to lure the bats into the carrier, and Rocky to decorate Chase's drone to make it look like a bat, while everyone else get the dance party started. As everyone was ready for the mission, they'd deploy their vehicles. And, off they go to save Katie's shop.
As the PAW Patrol made it to the shop, Rocky gave Chase's drone some bat wings out of a broken umbrella. Chase deployed his drone, and it got all three bats out off the shop and into the carrier. Skye picked up the carrier and flew off to get the bats back home. Meanwhile at City Hall, Zuma, Marshall, and Rubble were setting up the stage for the stage for the dance party. And as it was all set, Rubble was rehearsing for the party.
As Rubble was doing some record scratching, it was echoing towards the bat cave again, and the three bats started to follow it again, along with the rest of the flock. They made it to the dance party, flying all over, and Rubble got scared, he ran away and accidentally unplugged the power, causing the lights to turn off. Ryder turned the power back on, but a bat scared in front of Rubble, causing to slip and play "Gotta Scratch" as he touched his DJ set, and the bats started to move along. But, when Rubble stopped the music, the bats stopped too. As Ryder looked at the bats, he figured out the solution, the bats thought the music was other bats when Rubble played it. After all the bats loved Rubble's music. Ryder needed to get the bats back home, he asked Rubble to use his rig to carry a speaker, so the bats would follow his music. As Rubble was doing the DJ on road, with Rocky pulling his rig with his recycling truck, Mayor Goodway feared the party would no longer go on, but luckily, Chase came up with an idea of how keep it going. He deployed his bat drone in front of Rubble, so everyone at the dance party can enjoy the music. Rubble lead the bats back to their cave, and one said "Thank you." And, Ryder said, "Whenever you have a problem, just (record scratch) for help."
As the dance party was over, and the PAW Patrol was back at the Lookout, Rubble felt tired from all the DJ playing, so he began to go to sleep. And, the episode ends with Ryder saying, "It's his new tune, "Gotta Snooze." making his pups laugh.
