"Pups Save Ace's Birthday Surprise" is the first segment of the 26th episode in Season 5 of PAW Patrol.

Summary

Rocky and the pups fix an old junk car for Ace Sorensen's birthday.

Synopsis

It was a beautiful day in Adventure Bay, Skye and Ace Sorensen were flying through the sky. Skye was keeping Ace busy because it was her birthday, the PAW Patrol were setting up her surprise party at Town Hall. Skye and Ace landed at Farmer Al and Yumi's farm, Ace gave them the animal feed they needed. Skye invited Ace to Town Hall at 3:00 PM, but Ace said she needed a car instead of a plane to get there, there's landing strand at Town Hall. Skye left the farm to meet up with the rest of the PAW Patrol.

Skye arrived at Town Hall and she could see the party looking terrific. Marshall and Zuma had putted up the decorations as Rubble was practicing his DJ music. And, Mr. Porter had started baking a cake. But they forgot a present for Ace, they need to figure out what give her, before Farmers Al and Yumi drive Ace to Town Hall. Luckily, Rocky came with an idea. A few minutes later, Rocky and Rubble arrived at Junk Island. The last time Rocky was there he saw an old fashion car broken down. Rocky and Rubble brought the car back to the Lookout. With some help from the PAW Patrol, they started fixing it up and remodeling it. After a few minutes, the car was all done. Marshall painted it to look like Ace's plane, and Rocky had put in some extra seat belts in back. Then, Skye thought of something else for the car, and she needed some help from Rocky.

Ryder got a call from Mr. Porter, Mr. Porter was letting him know the cake is almost ready. Ryder even showed him the present Ace, Mr. Porter thought of something else for the cake. While he was loading up his van, Mayor Humdinger and the Kitten Catastrophe Crew came by to pick up some tuna. As Humdinger saw Ace's birthday cake, Mr. Porter said he made it to look like the present. As Mr. Porter was leaving, Humdinger and his kittens were picking up some tuna. But, once they were heading back to Foggy Bottom, they couldn't carry all the tuna, their carrier wasn't to carry things. Humdinger remembered Mr. Porter telling about the car the PAW Patrol were remodeling, he decided to steal it for himself, so could be to carry stuff wherever he goes.

Once Mayor Humdinger and his kittens had reached the Lookout, they saw Skye and Rocky cleaning up the car to make it look shiny. Humdinger used his goose call to lure the pups away from the car. Skye and Rocky looked around to if they could find the "goose." The kittens were able to get the car, and then they drove off. Skye and Rocky saw the car was missing. Skye started yipping for help. The pups saw a puddle of oil, and a can of tuna. They believe Mayor Humdinger stole the car.

Rocky called Ryder about the problem, and Ryder summons the pups to the Lookout. Marshall slipped on oil, started spinning a flat kart, and crashed into the other pups. Then, he said, "Oil's well that ends well." The went up the elevator to geared up, and met Ryder in the control room. They all know Mayor Humdinger stole Ace's birthday car, It's their mission to get it back in time for the party. Ryder hired Skye to use her copter and goggles to search for the missing car and Chase to use his cones to set up a roadblock and stop the car. Once they were all ready, they went off to save Ace's birthday surprise.

Mayor Humdinger and his kittens were driving Ace's car to Foggy Bottom, but they didn't know they were dropping some tuna cans. For the PAW Patrol, they were following the tuna trail and found the car. Ryder and Chase got ahead of the baddies and set a roadblock with traffic cones. But, Humdinger turned left, leaving the PAW Patrol with no choice but to chase him again. Meanwhile at Farmer Al and Yumi's farm, the farmers and Ace were heading to Town Hall.

The PAW Patrol were still chasing Humdinger. Skye told Ryder about the red button she and Rocky added to the car, it was for something special. Chase told the mayor not to push the button, but Humdinger disobeyed and pushed the button. Then, from the sides of the car popped two wings, from the back popped rocket boosters, and the steering wheel turned into a yolk; the car turned into a flying car. Skye started to help Humdinger to stay clear of obstacles along the way. But then, the yolk is stuck, Humdinger wasn't able steer the car. Ryder called Rocky for some help, and Skye picked him up with her copter.

Once Skye got Rocky on the car, Rocky started fixing the yolk. After it was fixed, Skye helped Rocky to land the car. And once it reached Town Hall, Rocky got the car back to its original shape. A few minutes later, everyone surprised Ace with her present, and Ace loved it. Skye and Ace took it for a ride,and the episode ends with the girls flying in the sky again.
