"Pups Save Big Paw" is the first segment of the 2nd episode in Season 5 of PAW Patrol.
Summary
When a mysterious creature steals an ancient relic from Carlos' archaeological dig, Tracker and Skye help track it down.

Synopsis
The PAW Patrol were riding in the PAW Patroller in the jungle. Along the way, Mandy and the other monkeys were swinging by. They made it to where Tracker and Carlos were waiting. They both found some relics, they need the PAW Patrol's help to dig them out and ship them to the Adventure Bay Museum. As they get started, the pups started for the relics, while washes them up with his water cannons. Carlos made a map of where they found the relics. So, when you're an archaeologist, it's important to mark down what you find and where you find them on the map. For Marshall, a bug was below his feet, he trying to get out of its way, but then he tripped and accidentally sprayed Rocky with water. And, because of his tripping, he discovered another golden relic, which appears to be part of an ancient pillar. Carlos marked it on the map before they could dig it out.
Skye was digging out another golden relic, when she saw a reflection of a rainbow. Ryder wanted to get a picture of it, but trees were blocking the view, so Tracker took them to a better spot. As they all reached the perfect spot, Ryder took the picture of the pups and Carlos with the rainbow in the background. Back at the dig site, Mandy and her monkey pals were wearing the ancient bowls, and dug up the golden pillar, and it had markings shaping like big paws. Mandy started rolling on it, making big paw prints on the ground and breaking the table. Then, the monkeys went off into the jungle with the pillar.
The PAW Patrol and Carlos saw the mess at the dig site from their return, and the golden pillar missing. As they started looking, Chase discovered the big paw prints on the ground, Carlos was thinking some creature named Bug Paw took the relic. Ryder knew the relic had to be at the museum, he summoned the pups to the PAW Patroller. Marshall accidentally hopped into an ancient pot, got a flower on his head, and bumped into the other pups, then said, "Look, it's a face plant." As the pups were in their gear, Ryder told them about "Big Paw" taking the relic and wrecking the dig site. It's up for them to clean up the mess, find the relic and bring it back. Ryder hired Rocky to help Carlos to fix the table and clean the dig site, Skye to search from her helicopter for the relic and the creature who took it, and Tracker to use his advanced hearing to listen for the creature and his cables to search in the treetops. As everyone was ready, they deploy their vehicles, and off they go to clean the dig site and find the gold relic.
Rocky's helping Carlos with the dig site, while Ryder and Tracker search for the relic and the creature in the jungle by following the paw prints and Skye searches above. The table needed a new leg, so Rocky got one out of his truck and screwed it in. For the monkeys, they lifted the relic off the ground by swinging on vines. And, as Ryder and Tracker had reached to where the tracks stopped, they thought that Big Paw could either climb or fly. Ryder asked Tracker he could hear the creature, but all Tracker could hear was regular jungle sounds. Skye spotted something shiny moving through the trees, but couldn't see what's carrying it. Ryder asked Tracker to search the trees. Tracker was still scared of the dark, but he still had to get the relic for the museum. He activated his cables and starts swinging through the trees, while Ryder follows him on his ATV.
The monkeys took the relic on a big tree next to a river. Mandy started standing on it, as the rest of the monkeys were making a monkey tower, and that made the tree branch they were standing on breaking apart, and scaring the parrots, who were sitting on it. The PAW Patrol was still looking for the relic, when they saw a scary shadow on a rock, which was actually made from the monkeys. The tree branch was breaking more, it scared the monkeys, making their echos out of the tree's hollow, and Tracker thought it was Big Paw who made that sound, until he heard monkey sounds.
Then suddenly, the tree branch broke off completely, fell into the river, and started floating away with Mandy and the relic on it, and Mandy was also stuck. Tracker started to get onto the log before it floats away. He used his cable to stop the log, but the relic was about to fall overboard. Luckily, Skye used her copter's claw to pick it up. Tracker brought Mandy back to shore and used his multi-tools to free her from the log.
Back at the dig-site, Carlos showed everyone the markings on the relic, he told them that Big Paw wasn't real, it was the relic that did it with the monkeys' help. Rubble dug out the rest of the golden pillar, and it had different markings of other animal tracks. People at ancient times must have used the pillar to make tracks to scare other animals. They were gonna take it to the museum, but the monkeys want it for fun. Luckily, Rocky gave them an old tire to play with.

First Responders
- Use his tools to help Carlos fix the dig site.
- Search from her helicopter for the relic and the creature who took it. Later on, use her claw to get the relic.
- Listen for the creature and use his cables to search in the treetops. Later, stop the log with Mandy on it using his cables before it floats away.
