Synopsis
It started at City Hall, it was Chicken Day in Adventure Bay. Mayor Goodway was wearing her chicken costume and Mr. Porter was bringing types food which involves corn because chickens love corn. What they didn't noticed is that the popcorn popper rolled away, so Mr. Porter ran off to get it. Alex Porter arrived and asked about Chicken Day. Mayor Goodway explained that it was for celebrating to the chickens doing amazing things. Then, she and Alex started acting like chickens. Meanwhile, at the Lookout, the PAW Patrol pups were practicing their musical dance rehearsal. Chase was doing good, but Marshall did a flop on his dance.
Back at City Hall, Alex ran off to see if his grandpa had found the popcorn popper. Farmer Al was carrying a bag of chicken feed for chickens to eat. There was a hole, corn nibbles spilled all over, leaving a trail for Chickaletta to follow and eat. A gopher stole a corn cub and ran off, Mayor Goodway started chasing it. Farmer Al put the bag in the trunk of his pick-up truck, and Chickaletta climbed onboard, and drove off. Mayor Goodway came back with the corn cub, but then, she noticed Chickaletta was missing. As she started looking, she got on Alex's skateboard, rolled a little out of control, and got her chicken tail stuck on the Chickaletta statue. She needed help, she started to call Ryder.
Ryder and Robo-Dog were practicing for the chicken jam, before he got the call. He summoned the pups to the Lookout control room, Marshall tripped over a box full of DJ records, letting all the discs to fly out. Luckily, Marshall caught them with his tail, but bumped into the other pups, when he was trying to catch one with his mouth. As everyone was geared up, Ryder told the pups about Chickaletta missing and Mayor Goodway stuck on Chickaletta's statue. It's up to them to help the mayor down and find the lost chicken. Ryder hired Rocky to use his grabber to get the mayor down from the statue, and Chase to use his heat seeking goggles to help find Chickaletta. After they were deploying from their vehicles, they were off to help Mayor Goodway, find Chickaletta, and save Chicken Day.
As the PAW Patrol arrived at City Hall, the helped Mayor Goodway down from the statue. Then, Chase used his heat seeking goggles to look for Chickaletta. Chase had found Mr. Porter's popcorn popper with gophers behind a bush, the Porters were happy to have it back. Ryder discovered a trail of chicken feed on the sidewalk, leading towards some tire tracks on the road. They figured Chickaletta took a ride with Farmer Al to his farm. Ryder called Skye to fly over the farms and see if Chickaletta is there.
Farmer Al made it back to his farm and unload the chicken feed to the chicken pen as Chickaletta was following the trail. Skye made it to the farm and saw Farmer Al leaving. She used her goggles to see if Chickaletta is still there, and she found her with her bracelet on her ankle. She reported it to Ryder, he and the other pups, along with Mayor Goodway, drove off to follow Skye. As they arrived, Chickaletta was happy to see her owner. But, as she was running towards the mayor, she tripped over a rock, fell into a bucket, and started rolling away. Everyone followed the bucket, which landed on a thorny bush. Mayor Goodway got caught by the thorns, while she was trying to help. The thorns were very strong, but luckily, Ryder got her free. Then, he asked Chase to use his zip-line to go over the bush and pick up Chickaletta. Chase succeeded as he zip-lined and freed Chickaletta.
At the Chicken Day festival, everyone was dancing to the music, eating corn food, taking chicken photos, even the chickens started grooving along. And, the episode ends with a bird's eye view of the Chicken Day festival.
