"Pups Save Dude Ranch Danny" is the second segment of the 9th episode in Season 4 of PAW Patrol.
Summary
The pups must rescue Daring Danny X when the pony he's riding takes off.

Synopsis
The PAW Patrol with Danny were riding the PAW Patroller to visit Mr. Wingnut's ranch for some great western fun. Chase loves to do cowboy stuff and be a sheriff. And, Danny likes to be buckaroo to ride a bronco. As they arrived, Mr. Wingnut was inventing robot horse named Lightning Bolt, as he was done, he got on, turned on his robot and it worked great. Everyone is really excited for some great western fun, they'd got horseshoe tossing, hay wagon, and western trail ride. Danny was excited to do trail riding, he ran to the horse corral to which horse he could take. There were two horses, Sweetfoot and Speedy Steve. Danny thinks Speedy Steve would be the perfect horse since speed is what he wants, but as he started riding on him, Steve wasn't as fast as Danny had hoped.
Ryder and the pups were going hay riding with Sweetfoot pulling the wagon, and Mr. Wingnut was riding Lightning Bolt. They were all heading for Wild Flower Meadows, where there were lots of flowers and butterflies. But then, Lightning Bolt started to go out of control a little, and he sling Mr. Wingnut off of him, but luckily, the PAW Patrol caught him with the hay wagon. Now that Lightning Bolt has a glitch, everyone needs to head back to the ranch, so Mr. Wingnut could get his tools to fix him up. But, for Danny he's staying behind to watch Lightning Bolt. A few minutes later, Danny got bored, so he decided to ride Lightning Bolt. As he turned on Lightning Bolt, he was going faster. Then, he stepped on a gopher hole going in circles, causing the saddle to slip sideways. Now that Danny is in trouble, he started to record his video to Ryder.
The PAW Patrol and Mr. Wingnut made it back to the ranch. While, Mr. Wingnut's going to get his tools, Ryder got Danny's video about him riding on Lightning Bolt heading for a cactus field. Ryder and the pups geared up in the PAW Partoller. They know Danny's in trouble, their mission is to save before he gets hurt. Ryder hired Skye to fly over the valley and find Danny and the cactus field, and Chase to use his zip line like a lasso to stop Lightning Bolt. As everyone was ready, they deployed their vehicles and off they go to save Dude Ranch Danny.
Skye located Danny and the cactus, she told Ryder where they are. Danny and Lightning Bolt were heading towards one cactus, Ryder told Chase to lasso the cactus and bend it out of the way. Chase had got the cactus out of the way, Danny was safe at last, but he's still going fast. Danny saw a button on Lightning Bolt's chest, thinking it could be an emergency off switch, but as he pressed it, it was actually a turbo button, causing Lightning Bolt to go more faster. Then, he ran towards some hoodoos, rocky towers. Lightning Bolt climbed on them one by one to the tallest hoodoo. Now Danny was able to slide his saddle right side up, but the hoodoo was going off balance, it was about to fall, and Danny fell on Lightning Bolt's tail. Ryder asked Chase to ride Lightning Bolt off, and Skye to airlift him up. Skye used her hook to pick up Chase towards the hoodoo. And, Chase got both Danny and Lightning Bolt off the hoodoos.
At nighttime, Danny and Speedy Steve were picking some flowers for the PAW Patrol to say "thank you." And, Ryder said "If you ever a lick of trouble, reckon you should just yelp for help." Then, the show ends with Lightning Bolt eating the flowers, making everyone laugh.

- Use his zip line like a lasso to stop Lightning Bolt.
