Characters
Synopsis
The PAW Patrol arrive in the jungle on the PAW Patroller and are greeted by Tracker, who takes them to meet Carlos at the birdwatching deck. Ryder and the pups are there to help repair the weather-beaten structure, but the pups soon become interested in a chameleon crawling around. Meanwhile at the jungle ruins, Big Hairy is playing with another, somewhat smaller, giant monkey who ends up falling into a dry well in the ancient ruins. Unable to reach him and provide help Big Hairy takes off into the jungle, and upon seeing Tracker putting using cables, begins chattering excitedly.
Hearing the noise, Tracker goes to investigate and is grabbed by Big Hairy, losing his pup tag in the process. Tracker comes to realize that Big Hairy needs help, but is carried off before he can do more than call for help. Carlos hears him, and Ryder attempts to reach him on his pup tag with no success. Carlos is despondent, but Ryder quickly summons the pups to the PAW Patroller, with Marshall crashing into the pups after rolling on some loose coconuts. Ryder quickly debriefs the pups, and selects Chase and Skye to help search for tracker using their drone and copter, respectively.
While Skye searches from the air, Ryder and Chase-assisted briefly by Carlos-pick up the scent of monkey and hear the sound of Tracker's pup tag. After Skye helps them locate it from above, Chase deploys his drone, which soon finds banana peels and giant monkey footprints that that soon clue them in to Big Hairy's involvement. Skye spots the giant monkey and his unwilling companion, Tracker, and then saves her fellow pup after Big Hairy is spooked by Chase's drone and throws Tracker. As Big Hairy desperately tries to grab Tracker back, Tracker explains that Big Hairy wanted his help.
Skye and Tracker hear, and then see, the other monkey trapped in the well, and dub him "Little Hairy" on the assumption that he's Big Hairy's younger brother. As Big Hairy intended, Tracker attempts to lift Little Hairy out of the well using his cables, but the branch he's perched on isn't strong enough to take their weight. As Tracker descends into the well to comfort a distressed Little hairy, Ryder summons Rocky to build a ladder so Little Hairy can make his escape. Once this is successful, Rubble blocks off the well to avoid further accidents, and the group make their way back to Carlos. Carlos and Tracker are happily reunited and grateful to Ryder and the pups for their help, and Big Hairy expresses his own gratitude by relocating Rocky's ladder so it can be used to access the repaired birdwatching platform.
