Synopsis
It started at Farmer/Sensei Yumi's farm, the pups were learning more lessons of Pup-Fu. Marshall was going great at it because when does Pup-Fu, he wasn't clumsy at all. And for that, Sensei Yumi believed he's ready for a test for a new belt, a green one.
Marshall and Sensei Yumi arrived at the forest at Jake's mountain because it's better than any dojo or barn. Nature would provide the true test of Marshall's Pup-Fu skills. To earn his green belt, Marshall had to pass three tests: speed, strength, and balance. First is speed, Marshall had to catch all the apples before they touch the ground. As Sensei Yumi had kicked the tree, apples began to fall for Marshall to catch. Marshall was doing for that test, but as he was spinning, his collar holding his pup-tag fell off his neck. After he'd finish the test of speed, he and Sensei Yumi started to get his pup-tag back. But, when Marshall was trying to get it off from hanging on a branch at the edge of a cliff, he started to slip. Luckily, Sensei Yumi caught him on time, but then she slid and fell off. Now, that Sensei Yumi is stuck on a cliff and Marshall can't call for help, what would they do?
Meanwhile at the Lookout, Ryder and Zuma were cleaning Marshall's pup-pack since he's not here. Then, Ryder got a call from Cap'n Turbot. He was telling him that a heavy wind is coming from the west to where Marshall and Sensei Yumi went. Ryder tried to call Marshall and Sensei Yumi, but Marshall lost his pup-tag, and Sensei Yumi forgot to bring her phone. Ryder called the remaining pups to the Lookout. Chase was hooked onto Marshall's pup-pack, and as he entered the Lookout, the pack turned on causing Chase to wipeout. As everyone was ready, Ryder told them about the windy storm coming, heading towards Marshall and Sensei Yumi's location at the mountain. It's up to the PAW Patrol to find them, before the storm hits. Ryder hired Skye to use her copter and goggles to search from the air, and Everest to use her snow cat to help find Marshall and Sensei Yumi around the mountain. As everyone was ready, Ryder and Skye deployed and head for the mountain, while Everest deployed from the mountain to join the team.
As Everest made it to her team, Skye began to fly ahead and see if she could spot their damsels, while Ryder and Everest search on the ground. Meanwhile, Sensei Yumi was trying to climb up the cliff, but it was too steep. Marshall started to get his pup-tag back with a stick, but he slipped, causing his pup-tag to fall all the way down. Sensei Yumi tried to catch it, but she missed, and she was about to fall. Marshall came down and caught her right on time. But, now they were both stuck, still can't call for help, and worst of all the windy storm came.
Skye had found Marshall's pup-tag, then him and Sensei Yumi stuck on the ledge. Ryder and Everest caught up with up to rescue them. As they made to the ledge, Skye started to use her harness to pick Sensei Yumi and Marshall up from the ledge. It was way too windy, she only picked up Sensei Yumi. Ryder asked Everest to get to the bottom of the canyon. As she made it to the bottom, Ryder asked her to shoot her hook to the ledge beside Marshall. She shot her hook in precision, and Ryder told Marshall to loop his headband around the rope, so he can slide down. Marshall looped his band around the rope and began to slide down. But, he was getting close, a bird was sitting on the rope. Marshall swing up and landed and the rope, and got blindfolded by his headband. Sensei Yumi shouted to Marshall to remember his Pup-Fu skills. Marshall listened as he stood on his back legs and jumped over the bird in record time, and landed on the ground.
After the rescue was over, the PAW Patrol and Sensei Yumi were staying inside the Lookout to be safe from the rest of the wind. Sensei Yumi thanked the pups for saving her and Marshall, and Ryder said, "If you're ever in trouble, just HI-YA! for help." For Marshall, he finally earned his green belt, cause not only he'd shown amazing speed to catch the apples, he'd also showed amazing strength since pulled Sensei Yumi up from falling off the ledge, and showed amazing balance since he was able to slide all the way down on Everest's rope. After Marshall had gotten his belt, Chase asked him to teach how to balance on a ball. As Chase trying to keep his balance, he was about to bump into the other pups, as they entered the elevator. And, the episode ends with everyone laughing about Chase's wipeout.
