"Pups Save a Humdinger Doll" is the first segment of the 5th episode in Season 9 of PAW Patrol.
Summary
With Tracker's help, the PAW Patrol must rescue Mayor Humdinger who has been mistaken for Big Hairy's missing toy doll.

Synopsis
Outside the monkey temple, Big Hairy is playing with his purple doll, spinning around with it until he gets dizzy. However, as spins, he loses his grip on the doll and it flies out into the bushes. After recovering from his dizzy spell, he realizes it is gone and frantically searches around for it, damaging a part of a bridge in the process.
The PAW Patrol arrive to the jungle on Carlos and Tracker's request and are informed of Big Hairy's rampage across the jungle in his search for his purple doll. Before the team gets to searching as well, Rocky fixes the bridge with his pup pack's claw and hammer. Meanwhile, deeper in the jungle, Mayor Humdinger and the Kitten Catastrophe Crew are on a walk, searching for cute monkeys to record with the kitties, which Humdinger believes will make him famous. Cat Marshall spots a few resting on a branch and Humdinger rushes over to them, but gets wrapped up in their monkey hijinks, resulting with him falling into the river. After returning to the land, now soaked, Humdinger replaces his jungle attire with his spare pajamas he packed. However, just as he finishes changing, Big Hairy appears and mistakes Humdinger's purple resemblance to be his doll, grabbing and playing around with him instead. Unable to escape Big Hairy's grasp, Humdinger requests the kitties to call the PAW Patrol for help, which Cat Rocky does by dialing their number on Humdinger's phone.
Thanks to Marshall's animal communication skills, Ryder learns of the situation with Mayor Humdinger and Big Hairy from the Kitten Catastrophe Crew and summons the PAW Patrol to the PAW Patroller where they are suited up in their Jungle Rescue gear and briefed on their mission. He assigns Tracker to use his super hearing to find Big Hairy and Rocky, confused at first, to use his tools to make a giant fake banana. With that, the team deploys with Tracker and Rocky hopping into their respective vehicles and setting off with Ryder to save Mayor Humdinger.
As Mayor Humdinger is forced to continue being Big Hairy's doll, Tracker listens for Big Hairy's whereabouts, hearing Humdinger's complaints instead while Rocky finishes making the giant fake banana. He opens a compartment to allow Tracker inside, and the team set off again, finding Big Hairy, who is having a tea party with an unhappy Humdinger. While Big Hairy is distracted with his playmate, Rocky places the giant banana behind him, allowing Tracker to quietly sneak out and use his cables to swing away with Humdinger, finding a safe place to hide him until they can retrieve Big Hairy's doll. However, as Tracker heads up to a cliff, Humdinger begins to complain, and Big Hairy, now realizing the banana is a fake, follows the sound of his complaints up the cliff. After Tracker encourages Humdinger to run with him to safety, Humdinger complains yet again and abandons Tracker to hide inside an old plane instead. As Tracker, now aware that Humdinger is gone, searches for him, Humdinger silently hides until a spider startles him, revealing his location to Big Hairy who picks up and carries the plane away.
Worried that Big Hairy may throw the plane like a toy with Mayor Humdinger still inside, Tracker alerts Ryder, who calls Skye and Chase as backup. However, just as the two arrive, Big Hairy throws the plane, which zooms around the jungle. On Ryder's command, Skye flies over to the side of the plane and lowers her harness for Humdinger to grab onto while Chase, in case Humdinger falls, follows underneath with his net ready. Just before the plane flies back into Big Hairy's grasp, Humdinger finally reaches and straps on the harness, allowing Skye to safely pull him out of the plane and return him to the Kitten Catastrophe Crew's location where he changes back into his now dried jungle attire. Since they cannot find Big Hairy's old doll, Rocky proposes making a new one and does so by creating a pretend version Humdinger using his pajamas, a fake head from Carlos, and his top hat. As Big Hairy approaches, upset for his missing doll, Rocky leaves the new doll out for him to take and play with, uplifting his mood.
Back outside the monkey temple, the PAW Patrol, Carlos, and Mayor Humdinger and his kitties are having a tea party with Big Hairy and his new doll. Though he still resents having to participate in the tea party, he thanks the PAW Patrol for the rescue before Mandy and her monkeys appear with Big Hairy's old doll. Unfortunately for Humdinger, as soon as they return the doll to him, they swipe his top hat and play around with it, and the group share a laugh with each other.
