Synopsis
The pups are having Julius and Julia Goodway for a playdate at the Lookout, while Mayor Goodway is occupied with a busy day of her mayoral duties. Surprisingly, Julia actually expresses interest in accompanying her aunt on her business, while Julius remains with Ryder and the pups. Julia is soon decked out in her own version of Mayor Goodway's outfit, including a chicken stuffie in her own little purse. After several visits, the two stop at Al and Yumi's farm, where the pair are building a float for the upcoming Adventure Bay flower festival.
Unfortunately, while examining the float, Mayor Goodway and Julia end up stuck to it-literally, as the vehicle is covered in glue-and riding it as it makes its out-of-control way away from the farm. Al and Yumi quickly call Ryder to alert him to the situation, and he calls the pups and Julius inside the Lookout. Marshall trips on a tennis ball, and the pups and Julius then ride the elevator up for the debriefing. Chase is chosen to use his cones to keep pedestrians and others away from the runaway float, while Marshall is called upon to lean the glue off the float using his water cannons. Ryder also decides to have Julius ride with him on the rescue.
Ryder and the pups soon catch up to the float, which is continuing to accumulate objects as it speeds through town. Chase manages to set up a line of cones to keep anyone else from getting too close, and Marshall is able to free the Goodways and Garby with his cannons. Unfortunately, while he's attempting to get them off using his ladder, the trio and Chickaletta's statue, and Marshall's ladder, also end up stuck to the float. The float ends up rolling up a hill, only to run out of steam and begin rolling the other way back into town.
Brainstorming a means of stopping the float, Julia remembers the new anchor for the Flounder that Mayor Goodway dedicated earlier that day, and Ryder has Skye go and retrieve it. She manages to arrive and hook it to the float just in time to prevent it from crashing into Adventure Bay's new goalposts, dedicated earlier that day by Mayor Goodway and Julius. Both Julius and Julia are happy for each other's surprisingly exciting days, and the float proves surprisingly popular with the residents of Adventure Bay. This is due to it picking up, and thus displaying, a number of their possessions during its wild ride.
