"Pups Save a Playful Elephant Calf" is the second segment of the 15th episode in Season 9 of PAW Patrol.
Summary
When Everest joins the PAW Patrol for a visit to the jungle, she makes friends with a clumsy elephant calf and then must help rescue him.

Synopsis
In the jungle, the pups and Tracker, with Everest being invited, are playing swing-along on tire swings. After Everest's mini mishap with the swings, Carlos offers to make coconut smoothies for everyone, sparking the idea for Tracker to invite Everest near the top of Mount Zigzag to taste a fresh coconut right off a tree.
With a wagon attached to one of his cables, Tracker takes Everest up the mountain's steep slope where she enjoys the scenery, spotting and watching a toucan until Snort, a baby elephant, startles her with his trunk. Using his trunk, he pulls a coconut off from a tree and rolls it over to Everest for a mini game of soccer. However, after scoring it, the coconut bounces away with Snort chasing after it and falling into a hole. Together, Everest uses her grapple while Tracker uses his cables to pull Snort out by his trunk, but the two are not strong enough and call the PAW Patrol for help via Everest's pup-tag.
After Everest explains the situation with Snort to Ryder, he summons the PAW Patrol to the PAW Patroller where they are suited up in their jungle gear and briefed on their mission. He assigns Rubble to use his rig to dig a ramp, Chase to extend his winch and guide Snort up, and lastly, Everest and Tracker to keep Snort calm until the team arrives. With that, Rubble and Chase deploy into their respective vehicles and set off with Ryder to help Snort.
Worried he may hurt himself trying to climb out, Tracker and Everest distract Snort with a coconut they bounce with each other until the PAW Patrol arrives. Just as instructed, Rubble uses his rig to dig a ramp in the hole while Chase uses his winch, attaching it to Snort's trunk and retracting it, safely pulling him out. Thrilled to be free, Snort does a happy dance while Rubble fills up the hole to ensure no one else falls into it. However, while dancing, Snort gets too close to the edge and ends up sliding down the mountain with Everest following close behind on her snowboard and Tracker using his cables.
On the way down, in an attempt to stop himself, Snort grabs onto a lodged branch with his trunk, but due to his weight, the branch snaps, causing the pile of boulders above it to rumble. Before he collides into a rock, Tracker pushes him out of the way into a cave with Everest still hot on his tail. After commanding the pups to meet them at the bottom where the cave comes out, Ryder follows after Everest and Snort as Tracker hops into Rubble's rig and rides down with him with Chase following, but stopping upon hearing and spotting the wobbly pile of boulders from behind.
In the cave, Snort's weight causes the rock bridge inside to break, forcing Everest to abandon her snowboard and jump onto Ryder's ATV, which is able to jump the large gap. Meanwhile, outside the cave, Chase moves out of the way of a large, tumbling boulder and alerts Ryder that it is rolling down the mountain towards his, Everest and Snort's location. On Ryder's command, Rubble heads to the bottom of the mountain to the lowest spot to dig a hole big enough to stop the boulder while Tracker, on Everest's request, uses his cables to gather a bunch of really big leaves.
As soon as they exit the cave, Tracker passes the big leaves over to Everest and hears the boulder coming from behind, quickly moving out of the way. After Everest's command, Ryder drives faster to get in front of Snort, allowing Everest to hop off and use the leaves as a "leaf-board". To get Snort out of the boulder's path, she passes another pair of big leaves under his feet and teaches him how to use them with balance, but just as Snort gets the hang of it, a few obstacles loom in their path. Keeping him calm and reassured, Everest shows him how to lean with their bodies to steer the leaves, and together, they avoid the rocky area and steer clear out of the boulder's path, which falls into the large hole Rubble dug.
Back outside the PAW Patroller, after the team explains what happened during their mission to Carlos, Everest feels sad, missing Snort, who returned up the mountain once it was deemed safe. However, right after Carlos offers to make smoothies again, Tracker hears trumpeting and spots Snort returning with a fresh coconut in his trunk. Using their animal interpretation skills, Marshall and Tracker tell Everest that Snort is thanking her for the rescue and for teaching him how to ride a leaf. After Everest tries a bit of the smoothie, Snort trumpets and the group shares a laugh.
