Synopsis
It was winter time in Adventure Bay, at Jake's Resort, there was a snow sculpture festival, and Rocky was carving a sculpture of a pup. Jake and Mayor Goodway were enjoying themselves. As they were walking, they discovered a big snow sculpture of a polar bear. Jake said that it showed up overnight, wondering who made it. And then all of the sudden, Alex Porter was snowboarding, he accidentally bumped towards the sculpture, letting it slide down the slope and fall into a crevasse. Rocky could not get it because his claw is too short. With nothing left to do, Mayor Goodway began to call Ryder.
Ryder got Mayor Goodway's call that Rocky needed help to bring the bear sculpture out of the crevasse. While, Rocky is staying where he is, the rest of the pups headed into the Lookout. Marshall rolled on top of two big snowballs and crashed into the elevator, making himself into a snowman. As everyone was ready, Ryder told all of them about the bear sculpture stuck in the crevasse. Their mission is to bring it back up. Ryder hired Everest to use her grappling hook for Ryder to climb down the crevasse towards the sculpture, and Chase to use his winch to pull the sculpture out of the crevasse once Ryder hook it up. As everyone was ready, Ryder and Chase drove off to Jake's Mountain, while Everest deployed her snowcat and drove off to see the others.
As the PAW Patrol made to the crevasse, they have to be very careful bringing it up because snow statues break easily. Rocky gave Ryder an old shower curtain as a sling for the sculpture, and Everest gave him her grappling hook to climb down. As Ryder made it down to the sculpture, he wrapped the sling around it. Then, Chase lowered his winch for Ryder to hook it onto the sling. After that, Chase brought the sculpture up and out nice and slow. After the sculpture was saved, it began to move and the ice cracked off, revealing the sculpture to be a real life black bear.
The bear was sleepwalking last night, he wandered out and got snowed on. In fact, it is still sleepwalking, Ryder told everybody to keep out of the bear's way because if he wakes up, they could have a grumpy bear on their hands and paws. They had to take him back to his den without waking him up. They began to follow him around the resort to keep everyone and everything silent. The bear first sleepwalked towards two skiers and ate a sandwich. Luckily, Ryder shushed them to keep them quiet. Second, the bear sleepwalked towards the chair lift and started to ride on a chair. Ryder, Everest, and Mayor Goodway started to follow it, while Chase, Rocky, and Jake stayed behind in case the bear comes back down. Third, the bear sleepwalked towards the snow sculpture festival, after it got off the chair lift, and knocked off Rocky's snow pup. Mayor Goodway decided to stay at the fest to keep the rest of the sculptures safe, while Ryder and Everest continue to follow the bear.
Forth, the bear walked towards a family and began to ride on their sled down the hill. Ryder asked Everest to follow the bear, while he finds a snowboard to join her later. Everest snowboarded the bear towards the no snowboarding zone. The bear was now jumping off the sled in the air. Luckily, Everest started to balance the sled for the bear to land on without waking it up. Then, she used her grapple to slow down the sled. Everyone else caught up to help.
Everest knows that bear named Spot, a very cranky bear. And, there were a good thing and a bad thing about Spot's den. Good thing: Everest and Jake knew where it is. And, bad thing: it is up a steep snowy hill, they would not be able to get Spot up there. Luckily, Ryder came with an idea, he asked Rocky to bring out some pulleys, strong cables, and rope. They grabbed the supplies and climbed up to Spot's den. Then, they wrapped the cables around some rocks and hooked onto the pulleys. Next, they put the rope on the pulleys' wheels and hold onto one end and tied them onto the sled. Ryder and Everest pulled the sled up towards the den with Spot on it with their vehicles. As Spot was back to his den, he slowly opened his eyes and looked at Rocky. But, he really should not do anything harmful, he walked inside his den and went to sleep.
Rocky sled down the hill. And, now that the bear problem is solved, everyone headed back to the snow sculpture festival. Rocky and Everest had made a real snow sculpture of a bear. The episode ends with Mayor Goodway declaring Rocky and Everest the best sculpturists in Adventure Bay.
