Synopsis
It started at the Lookout in the evening, the Space Alien was visiting the PAW Patrol, and he along with Marshall and Rubble were playing with space bubbles. After they had their fun, the alien was about to leave. But, before he left, he gave the pups a heavy space ball. Rubble thought the alien was giving them a present. He and Marshall pushed it as hard as they could to show everyone else. Ryder opened it up by pressing a button, and inside was a purple space rock. Ryder suggested they could play with it tomorrow because it's time to go to bed.
Night fell, and at Jake's Mountain, Cap'n Turbot and Francois were doing some late night picture taking of animals coming out at night with some help from Everest. First, they saw an owl, then a skunk. Meanwhile back at the Lookout, as the the pups were sleeping, the space rock came to life with an eye and two legs, and ran off to the mountain. Everest and the Turbots saw a strange glow behind some rocks. As they got closer, they discovered the space rock, which just disguised itself as a rock. The Turbots used flash photography, which scared the rock away. They were in awe of the rock walking with legs. They bickered over who discovered it and getting to name it, much to Everest's annoyance. The rock had reached a pile of big rocks. It accidentally made a rock slide by bumping into them. Everest and the Turbots were chasing the rock, but instead got into trouble from the rock slide. The Turbots hopped onto Everest's snowplow to get away, and Everest used her clearing arm to save the rock. They all entered a cave to be safe, but a giant boulder got them trapped inside. Now, that they're trapped, Cap'n Turbot started to call the PAW Patrol.
At the Lookout, Ryder got the call and was surprised to see their space rock alive. He summoned the pups to the Lookout, and as they were heading for the elevator, Marshall and Rubble noticed the space rock is missing. Rubble wasn't concentrating, as he ran towards Marshall, causing them both to roll towards the elevator and crash into the other pups. Then, Marshall said, "That rock made us roll." As everyone was ready, Ryder told them about the space rock that went towards the mountain and got trapped in a cave with Everest and the Turbots, their mission is to find them and get them out. He hired Chase to use his night vision goggles and wall walkers to find the right cave, and Rubble to use his rig to move the boulders out of the way. Then, off they went to save Everest, the Turbots, and the space rock.
Back in the cave, the space was trying to move the rocks out of the way, but he couldn't. No one, but Cap'n Turbot could speak the rock's language, so he told it that the PAW Patrol is on the way, making him feel better. As the PAW Patrol made it to where the rock slide stopped, Chase started to look for the cave entrance by using his night vision goggles to see better, and his wall walkers to climb on the rocks, so could get a better angle. He finally found them, Rubble began to move the boulder out of the way. Everyone was free, and as they were looking at the space rock looking at another rock, Chase thinks that it thinks the rock can talk, which it didn't because earth are not alive at all. The space rock replied, and Cap'n Turbot translated, it had fun, but it wants to go back home. So Ryder decided to call the space alien to let him know. After the alien got their call, Cap'n Turbot translated that he thanked the PAW Patrol for watching the space rock for him while he was picking up a special delivery. The alien didn't give the space rock to the PAW Patrol, he wanted them to take care of it. The alien arrived, and the space was grateful to see him. He gave the space rock the special delivery, a friend, another space rock, which was yellow and a little short. Then, all three aliens boarded the spaceship back home, and the alien gave them a signal to say "Thank You." And, the episode ends with Ryder saying, "Whenever you need a space rock rescued, just (space rock language) for help."
