"Pups Save the Flying Food" is the first segment of the 8th episode in Season 4 of PAW Patrol.

Summary

Mr. Porter's delivery drones go out of control and air-drop food everywhere.

Synopsis

It started at Porter's Café, Mr. Porter was going to deliver some pup food to the Lookout. But, instead of his delivery van, he was using drones to deliver the food faster. In fact, he was using his drones to deliver food to everyone in Adventure Bay. The drone arrived at the Lookout for the pups to have their food. Now, Mr. Porter's drones started to deliver more food around town, like to City Hall and the Flounder.

As Mr. Porter was getting more delivery calls and getting more groceries into his bags, one of his drones swooped by, causing him to drop his remote onto a pie. That remote was for controlling all of the drones. He was about to get it back, but then, a drone took the pie away with the remote still on it. The drone flew towards Farmer Yumi's and dropped the pie onto a mud puddle with two piglets. The piglets were about to eat the pie, but one piglet had pressed the button on the remote, causing all the drones to drop the food all over town.

With a problem that big, Mr. Porter called Ryder about his drone problem that he needs his remote back. Ryder summons the pups to the Air Patroller. Marshall slipped onto a banana peel, which was dropped by a drone, and slid and crashed towards the other pups. As everyone was ready, Ryder told the pups about Mr. Porter's missing remote and raining food. It's up to the PAW Patrol to protect Adventure Bay from raining food, and find the remote. Ryder hired Rocky to use his grabber to catch the food before they splat on anyone, Rubble to assist Rocky by using his shovel catch more food, and Marshall to use his water cannons to wash away any food they miss. Marshall, Rubble, and Rocky put on their jetpacks and flew to do their job.

Rocky caught the food with his grabber, Rubble caught the food with his shovel, and Marshall washed the splatted food away with his water cannons. They were doing a great job, but there were too many drones and too many food to stop, they need to find the remote fast. Luckily, Ryder knew what to do, he asked Chase to capture one drone with his net. Chase started to fly to catch a drone. Ryder asked Rocky to activate the homing function once Chase catches the drone. The homing function is an electronic signal that the drone can follow all the way to the lost remote. Chase caught the drone with his net, and Rocky activated the homing function for the drone to follow the remote.

Now that the drone is following the homing signal, Ryder asked Skye to follow the drone to the lost remote. Skye put on her jetpack and used her super sonic thrusters to catch up to the drone. The drone lead Skye to the remote to Farmer Yumi's, but the piglets pressed the button, causing the drone to pick up the piglets and flew away.

The piglets played a little too rough with the remote, it wouldn't work anymore. And, it caused the drones to turn off and fall all over. One drone carrying the piglets turned off too, causing the piglets to fall to their death. Ryder needed to save the piglets. He spotted the pool of pies near Alex's tree-house, figuring it would be a perfect landing pad. He called Chase to get it to where the piglets are going to land, then he ejected and flew to the spot for Chase to put the pool. As he got the pool there, the piglets are saved.

As the rescue was over, Mr. Porter decided to get back to his deliver van. The piglets were having fun swimming in the pool of pies, and Rubble joined in as he hopped off his hoverboard.
