- Marshall makes a rare 1st entrance into the elevator.
- This is the fourth time this kind of entrance happened after "Pups Save a Train", "Pups Save the Mayor's Race" and "Pups Save a Pizza".
- Marshall's elevator joke "Flower Power" refers to a slogan used during the late 1960s and early 1970s as a symbol of passive resistance and non-violence ideology.
- The show Rugrats, another Nickelodeon show, is referenced in this episode. Tommy Pickles said a phrase that was his catchphrase, which was "A baby's gotta do what a baby's gotta do." When Marshall said the line, the word baby was replaced with pup. This is the second episode to reference the catchphrase and - by extension - the entire Rugrats show. The first is "Pups Bark with Dinosaurs".
Errors
- Chase is missing his spy shoes in the title card. This is the second time this error had occurred (the first was in "Pups Save Skye").
