"Pups Save the Wind Trekkers" is the second segment of the 22nd episode in Season 9 of PAW Patrol.
Summary
When Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta get trapped inside a mesa, it's up to the PAW Patrol and a little snake to rescue them.

Synopsis
Outside the Lookout, the pups are playing a game of Tumble Tag with Skye tagging Rubble, who, after tumbling over twice, gets dizzy. However, before they can continue their game, Mayor Goodway with Chickaletta secured against her chest, Ms. Marjorie, and Tilly Turbot glide by in their wingsuits and land atop the roof of the Lookout. After Tilly explains their plan to fly out to the desert for a bird's eye view of the environment, the three set off to the desert.
In the desert, after gliding through the canyons, Mrs. Marjorie spots Hollow Heart Mesa, where the trio stop to set up a picnic. While Tilly and Ms. Marjorie unpack, Mayor Goodway approaches the heart-shaped hole that gives the mesa its name. However, as she and Chickaletta gaze upon it, a snake appears and rolls over to their picnic, startling Maynard who causes a domino effect of Ms. Marjorie stumbling backwards into Tilly, who stumbles backwards into Mayor Goodway, who, along with Chickaletta, fall into the hole. As the snake rolls away, Ms. Majorie and Tilly call out to Mayor Goodway before calling the PAW Patrol for help.
Back at the Lookout, Ryder receives Ms. Marjorie's call and learns of the situation with Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta. He summons to the PAW Patrol to the Lookout where Marshall is suited up in his EMT gear while the other pups are suited up in their standard gear and briefed on the mission. After the mission briefing, Ryder assigns Marshall to see if Mayor Goodway is okay with his EMT gear, Rubble to use his rig to build a ramp, and Skye to circle the mesa and look for other ways out. With that, the team deploys with Marshall and Rubble being the first two to slide into their respective vehicles and set off with Ryder to the desert.
Once the group arrive to the canyon, Rubble uses his rig to build a ramp while Skye alerts Ms. Marjorie and Tilly Turbot to stay clear of Ryder and Marshall's jump and take cover. Once Rubble finishes the ramp, Ryder and Marshall drive off it and jump the large gap between the canyon and the mesa, landing near the very edge on top of the Hollow Heart Mesa. After Ms. Marjorie explains that Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta fell down the hole due to Maynard being startled by a snake, the snake returns, and Ryder identifies him as a garter snake who is completely harmless.
Skye uses her harness to lower Marshall into the hole of the mesa where he calls out to Mayor Goodway, but is unable to locate her due to her voice echoing from all the different holes in the cave floor. Meanwhile, underground, Mayor Goodway searches for a way out, using her phone's flashlight. Skye, flying around for another way out, catches a glimpse of the Mayor's light from outside of the mesa, but reports to Ryder that there is only a small ledge and the crack in the rock where the Mayor's light is shining is too narrow for the pups to fit through. Fortunately, Ryder comes up with an idea and has Marshall communicate with the snake, who they learn is named Loop. He asks Loop if he can help them rescue Mayor Goodway by slipping through the cracks of the rocks, in which Loop agrees, and is made an honorary PAW Patrol member with his very own collar and Pup Tag.
With Loop on his back, Marshall hitches a ride on Ms. Marjorie, who glides over to the small ledge dropping the two off. Once Loop slips through the cracks of the rocks, Ms. Marjorie takes Marshall back to the top of the mesa while Ryder tracks Loop's location using his Pup Tag. Eventually, Loop finds Mayor Goodway and accidentally startles her, but thanks to quick clarification from Ryder, who communicates via Loop's Pup Tag, she is informed about her upcoming rescue.
Once Skye lowers Marshall into the hole again, he follows Ryder's directions to Mayor Goodway and Loop's location. After giving Mayor Goodway a checkup and bandaging her sprained wrist, the group follow Ryder's directions and climb out of the hole to the top of the cave floor where Skye airlifts Mayor Goodway out with her harness. Once they are out and away from the hole, Mayor Goodway glides back down to the top of the Mesa as Skye airlifts Marshall out. After the Mayor thanks Ryder, the pups, and Loop for the rescue, Marshall and Loop hiss to each other, and the group share a laugh before resuming their picnic, in which Rubble, who is still on the other canyon, cries out for the group to save some food for him.
