Summary

When Rocky Kitty runs away from Mayor Humdinger and tries to join the PAW Patrol, he learns how to be a real hero when he helps the pups rescue Humdinger and the kitties from a wild hang-glider ride.

Synopsis

In Mayor Humdinger's lair, the Kitten Catastrophe Crew are dejectedly scrubbing the floor until Mayor Humdinger tasks them with re-stacking his closet full of top hats. Fed up with Humdinger's boring cleaning jobs, Cat Rocky walks out and eventually stumbles upon the Lookout, where Ryder and the pups are cleaning the yard with a game and song. Once they finish singing, Cat Rocky approaches them, and, with some translation from Marshall, asks if he can join the PAW Patrol. After Ryder accepts him as an honorary member, Rocky creates a meow translator that allows the rest of the pups to understand him. They dub him "Kitty" before playing a game of fetch, but in a cat-like manner.

Meanwhile, back in Foggy Bottom, in an attempt to prove that he's fun, Mayor Humdinger takes the rest of the Kitten Catastrophe Crew hang-gliding. However, the glider's wing breaks, causing him the crew to soar out of control toward Adventure Bay. Witnessing the scene from the the Flounder, Cap'n Turbot calls relays the situation to Ryder, who summons the PAW Patrol and Kitty to the Lookout. After the pups are suited up in their standard gear and briefed on their mission, Ryder assigns Skye to keep the glider away from the bridge with her copter and Rocky to use his tools to repair its broken wing before setting off with the two for Adventure Beach.

As Mayor Humdinger nears the bridge, on Ryder's command, Skye uses her prop wash to blow the glider back into the air. She then returns to the beach to give Rocky, who retrieves a sheet of plastic from his recycling truck, a lift onto the glider for a mid-air repair. However, in the middle of the repair, Mayor Humdinger reaches for Skye's harness, causing the glider to become unstable. As a result, Cat Rubble falls from the kitty carrier, but is saved by Rocky who uses the sheet of plastic as a makeshift glider. Worried for their landing, Ryder calls Chase, who shortly arrives with Kitty and deploys his net for the two to make a safe landing.

After Kitty volunteers to make the repair, he is catapulted by Rocky onto the glider and tapes the sheet of plastic over its tear. As it nears City Hall, Kitty steers it away and is declared a hero by Mayor Humdinger and the kitties, who plead for him to return home. Having missed them all, Kitty accepts and shares a hug with Humdinger, losing his translator in the process. Humdinger tries to catch it but falls off the glider as it descends into the ocean. Fortunately, he is caught by Skye's harness and safely returned to the beach. Before gliding away with the rest of the crew, Kitty thanks the PAW Patrol for helping him rescue his friends, leaving Mayor Humdinger to reluctantly thank them as well and return home on foot.
