Synopsis

Out on Jake's Mountain, Ryder and the pups watch Roxi run through the slopes in her monster truck until Marshall slips and slides down after her, shivering after his slows to a stop. Ryder and the rest of the pups return to the Lookout to warm him up while Roxi stays behind to get another run in, only to be interrupted by Boomer, who challenges her to a race up the mountain. Roxi accepts, but after seeing how steep and rocky it is, as well as receiving a warning of an avalanche from Uncle Otis, she worries the area is too dangerous to race in. Boomer, however, doesn't listen and races ahead, sending a bunch of boulders barreling down the mountain. Though Uncle Otis' cabin is spared, one boulder teeters dangerous above a bear and her cubs on a frozen lake, prompting Uncle Otis and Roxi to call the PAW Patrol for help.

While Roxi follows Boomer to keep him out of trouble, Ryder summons the PAW Patrol to the Rescue Wheels HQ, where, after a Marshall sleeping bag wipe-out and transformation sequence, they are suited up in their Rescue Wheels gear and briefed on their mission. He assigns Zuma and Rubble as first responders, the rest of the pups to be ready on standby, and sets off with the team for Jake's Mountain. Once there, another cascade of rocks tumble down, one of which knocks the large boulder toward the bears. Zuma rushes in and activates his buoy launcher, catching it with a stack of buoys, which the cubs play with afterwards.

Roxi tries to call off the race with Boomer, but he continues to not listen, sending more boulders rolling down the mountain. Roxi avoids them by driving up a wall with her sticky star tires and sends Ryder a warning via her pup tag as the boulders roll toward Uncle Otis' cabin. Rubble uses his big scoop to build a ramp out of snow in front of the cabin, launching the boulders over it and into the snowy hill behind it. However, just as Uncle Otis rejoices, several of the boulders begin to roll toward his beaver buddies' home. Fortunately, the Rescue Wheels are able to stop them all with Chase catching one with his winch, Marshall spraying one away with his water cannon, and Skye catching one with her hook before swinging it onto Rocky's forklift.

Meanwhile, Roxi catches up to Boomer and uses a bunch of logs he bumped into as a jump to reach the top of the mountain, winning the race. After Boomer demands a rematch, which Roxi calls off, the ice underneath them gives way and sends them, as well as their vehicles, snowboarding down the mountain on blocks of ice. Taking control, Roxi jumps off a snow ramp and uses the ice to flip Boomer and Frank back into their vehicles before returning to her own, hitting the brakes alongside them. After the two slow to a stop near Ryder and the pups, a boulder tumbles down toward Boomer, but is quickly pushed away by Roxi's battering ram. As the pups and Frank cheer Roxi on, Boomer dejectedly declares the race a tie. Afterwards, Roxi joins Uncle Otis and the team for an all-pup warmup by the fire, sharing a laugh and a howl with them.
