Synopsis

As evening nears, Ryder and the pups gather outside the Lookout to witness Roxi's newest showstopper. She considers putting the stunt on hold to avoid disturbing Rubble, who is taking a nap, but after being reassured by Ryder, Roxi hops into her vehicle and shows off her glow-in-the-dark confetti, which glimmers as the group watch in awe. Worried for Rubble missing out, Marshall asks if they should wake him, but Ryder suggests letting him sleep to watch the stunt later in the night. Meanwhile, out on a mountain, Cap'n Turbot and Francois are arguing over who is the better explorer until they find a mysterious cave. After taking a selfie in front of the entrance, in which Francois covers Cap'n Turbot entirely with his face, they enter and observe the rock formations, stalagmites, and stalactites. However, as they record their findings, one of the rock formations suddenly tumbles down and forces them onto a stalactite. Now stranded above a collapsed cavern with their only exit blocked by rocks, Cap'n Turbot calls the PAW Patrol for help.

Ryder summons the PAW Patrol to the Rescue Wheels HQ, where, after a Marshall wipe-out with Roxi's confetti and transformation sequence, they are suited up in their Rescue Wheels gear and briefed on their mission. Ryder assigns Rubble and Marshall as first responders and sets off with them through the rough, bumpy terrain for the cave. Once there, Rubble uses the teeth at the bottom of his scoop to cut through the rocks and clear a path inside. In doing so, a bunch of rocks fall and roll toward his direction, which he barely avoids. After the three enter the cave, Marshall heads over to the edge of the cavern and extends his ladder up toward Cap'n Turbot. However, before he can rescue Francois, the ledge gives way, forcing him to back away. Fortunately, Rubble is able to use his scoop to catch Francois, who swings himself off the stalactite and gracefully flips through the air before landing in it.

With the Turbots now saved, Ryder urges everyone to leave the cave, but Francois witnesses a rock formation that resembles his face and rushes over to take a picture of it. Frustrated, Cap'n Turbot yells and stomps at him, causing the stalactites from above to fall and block their exit once more. Rubble tries to clear another path, but stops after more stalactites above them threaten to fall, making it too dangerous to clear out. After Ryder calls Roxi for backup, Francois shows her his selfie from earlier, revealing another entrance to the cave high up the mountain.

Roxi rushes over to the area and ascends the mountain until she comes across the entrance from Francois' photo. Using her sticky star tires, she traverses the cave's bumpy walls, soon finding and joining the others inside. After Cap'n Turbot notes he found water flowing out of the cave, but is unable to locate its direction, Roxi uses her glow-in-the-dark confetti to light up the area, revealing a rock-less escape route. Ryder gives Cap'n Turbot a ride on the back of his ATV, while Marshall shares his with Francois, and follows Roxi as she leads the way out of the cave, avoiding the falling stalactites nearby. After Francois thanks the the team for the rescue, Roxi celebrates by setting off her glow-in-the-dark confetti into the night sky.
