Rex is a recurring character who debuted in the Season 7 episode, "Dino Rescue: Pups and the Lost Dino Eggs". His primary purpose is to help dinosaurs and the PAW Patrol on their Dino Rescue missions, usually for communicative purposes.

Bio

Rex is a Bernese Mountain Dog who lives in a place called the Dino Wilds, where dinosaurs still live and roam freely, with his owner, Dr. Tammy Turbot and her daughter, Taylor Turbot.

Unlike the other pups, Rex has a disability with his back legs and is unable to walk with them, so he uses a high-tech dog wheelchair to get around. He is an expert on dinosaurs, often sharing dinosaur facts with the PAW Patrol.

Rex is a Bernese Mountain Dog and a dinosaur expert! As a differently-abled pup, Rex races around the Dino Wilds using special walking wheels that were built just for him! Together, he and the pups partner up to save their prehistoric pals.

Personality

Rex has a very sweet personality. Due to his ability to speak to dinosaurs, he has quite a way with them, and has a soft spot for baby dinosaurs in particular.

He is quite determined and doesn't let anything slow him down. If a dinosaur's in trouble, he'll do anything he can to save it, no questions asked.

Appearance

Rex has tri-colored fur with his main coat being black and the markings around his face, legs, and paws being brown and white. He has two little tufts of fluff on his head, brown eyes and eyebrows, and a black nose.

He wears a lime-green vest, and rides a wheeled dino-walker that carries and supports his hind legs. When on a mission, he wears a blue helmet with lime green highlights and a gray strap along with his vest.

Rex has never been seen without his vest, so it is unknown what he looks like without it.

Pup Tag

Rex has his own personalized pup tag that is green with a lighter green bone pattern and a blue 4-clawed dinosaur foot on the inside with a silver border on the outside.

Vehicle

Rex’s vehicle is an azure with gray highlights and green streaks truck with stegosaurus plates. It has a ramp in the back that allows him to enter and exit with ease and the ability to lift up its wheels. Its vehicle number is 19.

Pup Pack

Rex's pup pack contains a Dino Claw with a stretchable cable. This tool allows Rex to swing or climb to high places. With this, Rex can also grab heavy things like a log.

Skills and Abilities

He can understand the speech of dinosaurs and serves as their translator.
