Trivia
- This is the first spin-off of the franchise.
- Rubble's family is introduced in this spin-off, with five new bulldog characters and one dog who is not even a bulldog.
- This series' animation is inspired by and resembles the movie (even though it is done on a lower budget scale).
- This series is animated by Canadian animation studio Jam Filled Entertainment instead of Guru Studio (which animates the main series).
- In the series, it is revealed that Mayor Goodway has a sister named Mayor Greatway, who is also a mayor just like her sister.
- Mayor Greatway even has a loyal duck assistant named Mr. Ducky Doo, similar to Chickaletta being loyal to Mayor Goodway.
- Rather than Lucien Duncan-Reid, who voices him in the main series, Rubble is voiced in the spinoff by Luxton Handspiker, who was the voice of Rex in the seventh season.
- The spinoff's premise is very similar to the Bob the Builder franchise, which was also created by Keith Chapman and still currently running as of today.
- Both shows feature anthropomorphic builders (Vehicles, animals).
- Both have movable base of operations (3 for Bob, Builder Cove).
- Both have a clumsy villain that disrupts the building process (Speed Meister, Spud).
- The promo video of this series included the song Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus.
- Ryder made his series debut in "The Crew Builds a Bridge".
- Marshall made his series debut in "The Crew & Marshall Build a Fire Station".
- Chase made his series debut in "The Crew & Chase Are on the Case".
- Mayor Goodway made her physical debut in "The Crew Builds a Lighthouse", along with Cap'n Turbot and Chickaletta.
- Though she first appeared in the series premiere on Ryder's Pup Pad, that appearance was not "physical".
- Skye made her series debut in "The Crew & Skye Build a Mountain Lodge".
- Rocky made his series debut in "The Crew & Rocky Build a Bear Island".
- As of March 2024, the spin-off series has released 2 seasons.
