Bio

Skye is a seven-year-old cockapoo and the first female member of the PAW Patrol. Her favorite color is pink.

As the team's air rescue pup, her main jobs are flying and locating things, often seen with her helicopter's grappling hook and harness, helping people and transporting other team members. She has excellent memorization skills (as seen in "Pup Pup Boogie").

In PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, as a younger pup, Skye was raised in a barn where she spent her days waiting to be adopted until she caught a glimpse of Ryder, who was making a delivery, and chased after him through a severe blizzard. After spotting her in the snow, Ryder adopts Skye and takes her back to the Lookout, where she later becomes a member of the PAW Patrol.

PAW Patrol.com Description

Skye is a daring and skilled helicopter pilot with a love for little animals. This Cockapoo is the smallest pup, but that doesn't hold her back, as she bravely takes on any mission! Don't believe me? Check out the second movie! With acrobatic flips and wings built right into her Pup Pack, she's always ready to take to the sky! But she might avoid flying too close to Eagles... they're a bit intimidating.

PAW Patrol LIVE! Description

At seven years old, Skye is a cute, smart Cockapoo puppy. She is a fearless daredevil who will try anything with grace and a smile. She’s smart, loyal, and quick with a quip, sometimes gently teasing the bigger dogs who can’t seem to keep up! She loves to get paw-dicures and look good. When there’s no mission for the PAW Patrol, she can be found snowboarding or playing her favorite videogame, Pup Pup Boogie.

Personality

Energetic and ready to help, Skye is a dependable, fearless and smart dog that patrols the skies. She loves to fly in her helicopter and with the wings in her pup pack, and has a passionate interest in all things aviation related. When excited, she has a penchant of giggle-barking and doing a backflip with grace and a smile.

Skye is also friendly and playful. She likes to participate with her fellow PAW Patrol friends in fun activities such as Pup Pup Boogie. However, she and Zuma seem to have a rivalry and tend to be competitive with each other. Sometimes, she gently teases the other pups who can't keep up with her in the games they play.

Skye is not afraid of heights at all. However, she does have a fear of eagles (Aetophobia), as seen in "Pups Save a Toof", but she overcomes this fear many times to help others. She does not mind harmless baby eagles as seen in "Pups Save an Eagle".

Skye is very lovable and emotional (as seen in "Pups Save the Bunnies"). She has a soft spot for cute animals, especially bunnies, and often gushes over them when they're in sight. Like Rubble, she is sweet towards little kittens, the only exception being the Kitten Catastrophe Crew.

She is more feminine in behavior than Everest and she loves to get her fur styled at Katie's salon. She loves the color pink and is rather fond of dressing up femininely, especially on Halloween.

In PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Skye is the runt of her litter, which quickly becomes a major insecurity for her. After being picked up when she does not want to be picked up and seeing the other pups outgrow their uniforms, she begins to feel small and insignificant to the team. However, this changes when Skye gains the power of super strength and flight from one of the meteor's crystals.

Throughout the film, Skye finally feels like a strong asset to the team until the villains, Victoria Vance and Mayor Humdinger, trick her and steal her crystal, taking her powers in the process. Once again, she feels small and insignificant, and is consumed by her greed to prove that she is capable to the team, taking the rest of the PAW Patrol's crystals in an attempt to retrieve hers. Unfortunately, this leads to her getting captured by Victoria. The two have a brief bonding moment due to Skye feeling and understanding Victoria's situation, but Victoria views it as an attempt to coax her into freeing Skye and letting her reclaim the stolen crystals.

At the end of the film, after the PAW Patrol defeat Victoria Vance, Skye is given the other crystals from the team and uses them all once more to destroy the rest of the meteors brought in by Victoria. Once the day is saved, Skye releases the pink bandana, a reminder of her childhood, that she has carried her whole life into the wind, freeing herself from the notion that she is not good enough.

Appearance

Skye, being the smallest of the pups, has golden-brown fur, an orange shade to her shaggy ears, wavy tail, the tuft of fluff on her forehead, and the circles around her eyes. She has a cream hue to her legs, muzzle and belly, brown eyebrows and nose, and magenta eyes with three small eyelashes on each one. She wears a pink collar around her neck with her pup tag attached. Her uniform is a pink pilot uniform and her pink headgear is a pair of pink goggles. She also wears a pink pup pack included with flying wings.

In "PAW Patrol: The Movie", Skye's standard uniform was given a visual redesign, with her vest being composed of a porous material with metal plating on top. Notably, her flight goggles have been replaced with a more elaborate helmet assembly with clear pink visor, while her pup pack was given extra mass. Much like all of the pups sans Chase, Skye's movie uniform features sleeves. Much more black and violet are also present on the general design overall.

In PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, prior to being adopted, Skye wore a pink bandana around her neck with a pattern around the border. She holds onto it as a reminder of her past self until the end of the film.

Attires

Here is a gallery of Skye's attires throughout the series.

Equipment and Gadgets

Pup Tag

Like all of the PAW Patrol pups, Skye has her own personalized pup tag. Her pup tag is connected to her collar. It has a pink bone pattern as the background and a silver propeller symbol, representing her skills of flight, on the inside with a silver border on the outside. She uses it to communicate with Ryder, the Lookout, and the other PAW Patrol pups. When in use, her pup tag flashes a light pink light. It also has a special mechanism that allows her to make video calls to the other PAW Patrol members.

In the Mighty Pups sub-series, Skye wears a different pink pup tag that has a slight darker pink, hexagonal pattern as the background with a gradient pink tornado symbol, representing her mighty powers, on the inside with a silver border on the outside. It has the same functions as her standard pup tag.

In the Aqua Pups sub-series, Skye wears a pup tag that is almost exactly the same as her standard pup tag, except the propeller symbol is a glowing, neon blue. It has the same functions as her standard pup tag except it is also able to communicate with the Whale Patroller.

Pup Pack

Skye’s pink vest comes equipped with a Pup Pack. When it is activated, the Pup Pack transforms into a set of wings and jets to help her fly.

Flight Pack

In the Season 3 episode, "Air Pups", Skye was given a flight pack equipped with supersonic jets and wings that allow her to speed through the skies for quick air rescues. Her helmet's visor is equipped with goggle vision, allowing her to see things more closely from a distance.

Mission PAW Pup Pack

Her Mission PAW Pup Pack contains a suction cup launcher that can grab objects. It also provides a set of wings to allow her to fly on missions.

Sea Patrol Pup Pack

Her Sea Patrol pup-pack carries a rescue buoy, similar to the other pups' Sea Patrol Pup Packs, along with a parasail that allows her to fly over Adventure Beach and watch for any threats from the sky.

Rescue Knights Pup Pack

In Season 8's "Rescue Knights: Quest for the Dragon's Tooth", along with the other pups, Skye received a new Pup pack for Rescue Knights rescue missions. Similar to her standard Pup Pack, it contains a pair of wings, except in dragon-style. She uses these to fly when her copter cannot be used in a specific situation. In "Rescue Knights: Pups Save the Baby Dragons", she used her wings to teach a couple of baby dragons how to fly.

Vehicles

Helicopter

Skye pilots a grey helicopter with pink highlights. It contains a grappling hook and harness she uses for rescues and transportation. Its vehicle number is 04.

Jungle Rescue Helicopter

During later missions in the jungle, Skye's helicopter is painted in camouflage and takes a more jungle-themed appearance, adding a pair of pontoons to the sides of her helicopter alongside the wheels.

Ultimate Rescue Copter

In the Ultimate Rescue sub-series, Skye's helicopter is upgraded into a Tandem-Rotor chopper that can be used to fly long distances. It has two pilot seats, a cabin that can house four pups and a lift for extra passengers to sit.

Sky Cycle

In the Mission PAW sub-series, Skye has a Mission PAW vehicle, dubbed the "sky cycle". It is a motorcycle that can transform into a four-wheeled flying hovercraft.

Seaplane

In the Sea Patrol sub-series, after the opening of Adventure Beach and the pups being assigned their Sea Patrol duties, Skye was given a new seaplane to help protect the beach. The plane comes with a scoop she can use to swoop in and rescue anyone in trouble.

Mighty Pups, Super PAWS Jet

In the Mighty Pups sub-series, Skye rides a mighty plane that is powered by her powers of wind. It can be put on autopilot when she needs to use her powers to rescue someone.

Mighty Pups, Charged Up Jet

Jet

In Jet to the Rescue, Skye rides a purple and grey jet with pink highlights. It has two different modes: stealth and rescue. When in stealth mode, it can travel the skies without being detected. When in rescue mode, the wings extend out and give Skye access to her hook or her harness.

Dino Rescue Jet

In the Dino Rescue sub-series, Skye rides a gray Pterodactyl-shaped jet with pink and purple highlights. It has a hook that Skye can use to carry things.

Ready Race Rescue Vehicle

In "Ready Race Rescue", Skye's race car runs on the ground at high speeds and can transform into an aircraft that can go as fast as a turbo blimp.

Moto Pups Motorcycle

In the Moto Pups sub-series, Skye rides a gray motorcycle with pink and purple highlights that can function both on the ground and the sky. It gains aerodynamic wings and fins after transforming for flight.

Rescue Knights Copter

In the Rescue Knights sub-series, Skye rides a silver copter with pink and purple highlights, and, like the other members, has a dragon symbol on the side, except hers is purple. It is equipped with a pair of hooks that she uses to carry and lift objects in the air.

Adventure City Vehicle

In PAW Patrol the Movie, Skye rides an upgraded version of her normal helicopter, being much sleeker and aerodynamic in design, as well as being larger in size. The vehicle also has the ability to convert into hyper-sonic jet plane, while the original helicopter's cables are carried over as well. Much like Chase's spy truck, Skye's Adventure City vehicle has an ejector seat.

Big Truck Pups Vehicle

In the Big Truck Pups sub-series, Skye rides a big gray truck with purple and white highlights that stores and carries her jet in its trailer. When deployed, the trailer rises vertically, allowing her to hop inside her rescue jet and take off.

Her rescue jet is dark grey with purple highlights. Like her standard helicopter, her jet is equipped with a hook and a harness.

Manta Ray Vehicle

In the Aqua Pups sub-series, Skye rides a purple manta ray-themed sub with gray, teal, and pink highlights. It is able to function underwater and in the air by flipping its wings. It is equipped with horns in the front to clear away obstacles and, much like her standard helicopter, a hook underneath to lift things and a harness for rescuing people.

Falcon Jet

In the Jungle Pups sub-series, Skye rides a jet in the shape of a falcon. It is silver with pink, purple, and yellow highlights. The front is shaped like a beak while the back is shaped like a falcon's tail feathers. It stands on a pair of retractable legs with yellow claws on each end that can grab things. It is also able to imitate the sound of a falcon, allowing her to communicate with them.

Mighty Jet

In PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and the Mighty Pups sub-series (Season 10), Skye pilots a white and black jet with pink highlights that can fly at high speeds. It is equipped with two laser turrets that she can use to destroy obstacles. It also has a stealth mode in which its back engines power off and the jet silently soars through the airs with the fans in its wings instead. When powered-up by Skye, the wings of the plane rotate and can shoot a barrage of lasers at an extremely rapid pace.

Towards the end of the film, as Skye is destroying the meteors, one makes a direct hit on her jet's engine, forcing her to abandon it. It was never shown to physically crash as her Adventure City vehicle, but it is later seen again completely rebuilt and fully functional in the Mighty Pups sub-series.

Rescue Wheels Jet

In the Rescue Wheels sub-series, Skye drives and pilots a pink jet on black oversized wheels. It has her pup tag, vehicle number, and a mountainous landscape with yellow and white lightning painted on both sides, a pink wing on both sides, four headlights on top near the cockpit, and a pink rudder on top near the back. It contains two modes: land and propeller. When in land mode, she can traverse any terrain on the ground. When in propeller mode, all four of the wheels rotate and extend upward, acting as propellers that keep her vehicle airborne.

Like her other vehicles, her truck is equipped with a hook and claw that allow her to grab and lift things. Thanks to her jet's power, she is able to lift heavy objects such as Boomer's monster truck (as seen in "Rescue Wheels: Pups Save the Runaway Truck") and even City Hall (as seen in "Rescue Wheels: Pups vs. the Monster Mayor").

Road Rescue Trip Camper

In Season 11's "Skye's Road Trip Rescue", Skye drives a silver camper with pink and purple highlights. Inside is a bathtub, travel edition of Pup Pup Boogie, and a pup treat dispenser. The top comparment expands into a pop-up pup tent that she, Everest, and Liberty sleep in. The top compartment also stores her glider for the rescue mission. The bottom front compartment stores both Everest and Liberty's longboard and mini-scooter.

Glider

In Season 11's "Skye's Road Trip Rescue", Skye uses a glider to fly around and locate things from above during rescue missions. It is stored in the top compartment of her camper.

Skills and Abilities

Skye is a highly skilled pilot pup and is able to perform a variety of aerial maneuvers no matter how challenging they may be.

She is also athletic and a great dancer. Her goggles have built in binocular-like lenses that give her a closer visual in situations. Whenever Skye jumps, she always lands with a graceful backflip.

As a Mighty Pup, she gains the power of wind and can use it to create tornadoes to pick up objects and fly. When charged-up, she can control the weather.

In PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, when equipped with a crystal from the meteor, she gains the powers of super strength and flight.
