Bio
Speed Meister is a construction worker who rivals Rubble & Crew with his slow-moving assistant, Mr. McTurtle. He loves being in the spotlight and will do whatever it takes to be deemed the hero of Builder Cove, even if it means stealing or sabotaging Rubble & Crew's construction jobs and/or endangering others.
Personality
Speed Meister is a very mischievous individual who is very dramatic, often posing whenever he talks or acts. He often spies or eavesdrops on conversations relating to Rubble & Crew's construction jobs to either be the first to build it or ruin the crew's work, usually creating an even bigger problem as a result. A selfish attention seeker and easily Builder Cove's most unscrupulous resident, Speed Meister desires nothing more than fame and glory and will stoop to unbelievable lows to get what he wants, paying no attention to what people actually want and need from the work he does.
Unlike Rubble & Crew, Speed Meister does not value safety and will build a project as fast as possible. This always leads to unstable, unsafe structures that almost immediately fall apart. Sometimes, these projects will even put him in dangerous situations where he is not hesitant to call on Rubble and his family for help. It also doesn't help that, unlike the crew, Speed Meister doesn't plan out his builds and simply cobbles together whatever he can get his hands on, usually forgetting important details in his haste that come back to bite him once he's done. Compounding the issue, Speed Meister also doesn't care if his antics put children or even Mr. McTurtle in grave danger, and is generally indifferent to the plights he creates unless they begin to affect him in particular.
Although he always pins the blame on others first, Speed Meister will eventually (and reluctantly) take responsibility for his actions, admit his wrongdoings, though sometimes on accident, and apologize for any trouble he created. Afterwards, he usually leaves in a haste, often having to return to carry Mr. McTurtle, who moves at a much slower pace.
While Speed Meister is an antagonist, he never intentionally tries to harm anyone and will show concern when others are in danger, revealing a more compassionate side. However, once the danger has passed and no one is hurt, his antagonistic traits quickly return. He consistently shows disinterest in Rubble & Crew’s fast and safe construction work, especially when they receive praise, as he envies their success. He also believes himself to be entitled to fame, and regularly involves himself in situations that he had no prior hand in just because someone famous gets involved, with his short-sighted planning causing predictably poor results.
He is shown to be an admirer of others, being a big fan of Sierra Sparkle (as shown in "The Crew Builds a Tunnel") and Marshall (as shown in "The Crew & Marshall Build a Fire Station").
Although Speed Meister wants to be seen as Builder Cove's ultimate hero, he is more often regarded as an annoyance and nuisance. While he usually escapes without injury, he consistently faces his comeuppance in each appearance, often due to his own poorly planned schemes. His ego frequently leads him to expose himself as the cause of the problem, ultimately leaving him to walk away in shame.
In "The Crew Builds a Roller Coaster", Speed Meister shows a bit of shyness when expressing his affection for Mr. McTurtle in front of others.
Appearance
Speed Meister is a spindly and medium-skinned man with brown eyes and black, medium-length tousled hair, as well as a mustache and soul patch. He is arguably one of the tallest characters of the show.
His main attire consists of a dark blue hard-hat with orange inner lining with his company's logo on the center, and an orange shirt under a set of navy-blue denim coveralls with an orange-trimmed collar, orange elbow-patches, and orange-threaded seams on the two pockets with the left pocket having an orange patch with a beige frame, having his company's logo on the front. He also wore amber heavy-duty gloves with yellow fingertips and edges, as well as TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber) protection on the hands and wrists, and amber-yellow steal-toed work boots with a thin black stripe around the front, black straps, and black soles.

Vehicle
Speed Meister drives a navy blue monster truck he dubs the "Speedy-Mobile", which consists of various construction vehicle parts such as a mixer, claws and a drill that Speed Meister can extend out with his truck's control panel when needed for construction work. When these parts are not in use, they remain retracted together in the back of his truck.
The front of the truck is equipped with a winch and an orange flag with Speed Meister's company logo on it while the back contains a variety of construction vehicle parts as well as a spoiler. Above the driver's seat, where Speed Meister sits, is a smaller compartment where Mr. McTurtle sits. Both have a small, orange, translucent windshield in front.
Skills and Abilities
Speed Meister is a very speedy construction worker who dabbles in all areas of construction. However, his knowledge in these areas are very limited, which often lead to mishaps with his construction work. Egregiously, as seen in the premiere, Speed Meister can't even build a simply-designed birdhouse without it instantly falling apart.
