"The Crew Builds Instruments" is the second segment of the 21st episode in Season 1 of Rubble & Crew.
Summary
Sierra Sparkle comes to sing for Builder Cove Day, but when the band's instruments break, Rubble and Crew have a construction solution.

Synopsis
Outside City Hall, Rubble & Crew finish setting up decorations for Builder Cove Day-a holiday celebrating the town's foundation-in which Sierra Sparkle will come to perform a song alongside DJ Rubble and the Builder Cove Band. After the band members, Park Ranger Rose, River, and Shopkeeper Shelley arrive, they play their instruments on stage. Sierra Sparkle calls to let the pups know of her arrival, which excites Charger so much that he gets the zoom zoom zoomies! However, during his dash, he accidentally knocks over some of the decorations, which collapse onto the band's instruments and the stage. Charger then rushes over to his vehicle and uses his crane to remove the debris, revealing the now crushed instruments underneath.
After Charger apologizes for the mess, Mayor Greatway worries the band will be unable to perform for Builder Cove Day and will have to cancel the event. Fortunately, Rubble & Crew come up with a construction solution to make new instruments before Sierra Sparkle's arrival and return to the Bark Yard. Along with Grandpa Gravel, Auntie Crane, and Motor, the pups sing "We're a Pup Family" while building the new instruments. A couple of times, Charger finds himself getting excited, nearly about to get the zoom zoom zoomies again, but is stopped by Wheeler and Rubble, who encourage him to finish building before the concert starts. Once the instruments are finished, Mix creates several colors of paint in the Mega Mixer and sprays them onto the instruments with her spray blaster.
Rubble & Crew return to City Hall as Grocer Gabriel and Mayor Greatway try to clean up the big mess from earlier. After being energized by by Rubble & Crew, Charger uses his zoom zoom zoomies to quickly put all the decorations while Wheeler uses his WheelerVac to suck up the leftover mess. Once the stage is clean, the Builder Cove Band return to try out their new instruments just before Sierra Sparkle arrives.
Builder Cove Day kicks off with DJ Rubble and the Builder Cove Band performing alongside Sierra Sparkle, who sings a sing about Builder Cove, as well as thanking Rubble & Crew for making it what it is. Afterwards, she shares a celebratory hug with the pups for another job well done.
