"The Crew Builds a Giant Dam" is the first segment of the 22nd episode in Season 1 of Rubble & Crew.
Summary
Rubble and Crew are on the job to save Builder Cove after a rain storm threatens to flood the town.

Synopsis
Soon after Rubble & Crew use the Smash Masher to smash some rocks into gravel, it begins to rain, forcing the pups to pause construction and retreat to their doghouses. As they wait for the rain to stop, Rubble puts on his DJ attire and raps about the rain going away, which it does after he finishes. The pups then receive a call on the Bark Screen from Mayor Greatway, who alerts them of a flood fast-approaching Builder Cove. Mix comes up with a construction solution to build a dam to stop the overflow, and as a precaution from Mayor Greatway, Wheeler asks Auntie Crane to supply the residents with sandbags.
After swapping places with Auntie Crane in the Crane Tower, Rubble loads their construction supplies into Wheeler's dump truck and the sandbags onto Auntie Crane's forklift before setting off with the crew for the canyon. However, on their way there, they encounter a roadblock of boulders washed over from the storm. Charger clears a path by using his cranes to lift and move the boulders off to the side of the road, allowing the crew to head over to the canyon and start construction for the wooden frame of the dam. After they finish, Mayor Greatway calls Rubble on his pup tag, warning the pups that the water levels are beginning to rise. Mix adds cement into the frame to solidify the dam, but Rubble receives another call from Mayor Greatway and learns that the water levels are now much higher than their dam.
Rubble reassures Mayor Greatway that the pups can extend the height of their dam with no issues, only to be told by Mix that she is out of gravel, a necessary material to make more concrete. He calls and asks Auntie Crane, who has just returned to the Bark Yard, to deliver the gravel the pups made earlier with the Smash Masher. While they wait for her arrival, the crew construct a taller frame for the dam until she calls, informing them of another roadblock preventing her from delivering the gravel. Fortunately, Rubble comes up with a construction solution in which Motor uses her wrecking ball to smash the rocks Charger moved earlier into gravel. Rubble then uses his scoop and loads the gravel into Mix's mixer, which she mixes into quick-drying concrete.
As the water rapidly approaches, Mix quickly adds the concrete into the wooden frame. Once it solidifies, the pups remove the frame just before the water floods in, stopped by their dam. Mayor Greatway arrives shortly after and thanks Rubble & Crew for saving Builder Cove before joining them in a celebratory "Wiggle and Wag" alongside Mr. Ducky Doo.
