"The Crew Builds a Lighthouse" is the second segment of the 12th episode in Season 1 of Rubble & Crew.
Summary
Cap'n Turbot brings Mayor Goodway to visit family member, Mayor Greatway. But when a thick fog rolls in, the pups have to build a lighthouse fast!

Synopsis
Outside of Builder Cove, just as the pups finish repairing a bumpy road on the bridge, Mayor Greatway arrives and announces that her sister, Mayor Goodway, will be arriving to town through said road, which happens to be the only way into Builder Cove. Mix warns that the asphalt on the road will not be completely dry until the evening, but Rubble has a solution and calls Cap'n Turbot, asking him to bring Mayor Goodway to the shore on the Flounder instead so the two sisters can still meetup for their reunion.
After Cap'n Turbot accepts Rubble's request, the pups return to the Bark Yard, where they relay the news to Wheeler and Charger just before Mayor Greatway reappears, alerting them of an upcoming call from Cap'n Turbot. Not a moment later, they receive his call on the Bark Screen and learn that there is a thick fog obscuring his vision. He asks if they can power on the lighthouse so that he can see where he's going, but Mayor Greatway reveals that Builder Cove doesn't have one. Fortunately, the crew offer to build one just before Grandpa Gravel appears, promising to make a special meal for the reunion. With that, the crew load up on supplies and set off for the shore where they begin to build the lighthouse.
Once the crew finish constructing the lighthouse, Mayor Greatway returns to see their progress and Rubble powers it on before calling Cap'n Turbot, informing him of the light. Unfortunately, just as Cap'n Turbot sees it, a tide rolls in, wetting the sand surrounding the lighthouse, causing it to wobble. Rubble is able to catch it with his scoop, but now its light is shining the wrong way. Cap'n Turbot can no longer see and is told by Rubble to be careful of big rocks in the ocean while they fix the lighthouse.
Grandpa Gravel arrives soon after with food and notices the leaning lighthouse. He then informs the pups of how he kept his Mile-High Kibble Tower Pies from falling over by using dog bowls. This gives Mix the idea to build a giant dog bowl around the lighthouse to act as a wall of protection from the water and the crew immediately get to work building it. Once the giant dog bowl is finished, Charger and Rubble use their vehicles to lift the lighthouse back in place, allowing Mix to apply quick-drying cement to solidify the lighthouse and spray red paint over the dog bowl.
With the light now shining in the correct direction, Cap'n Turbot narrowly avoids collision with a rock and steers safely to the shore where Mayor Greatway and Mayor Goodway reunite. After Goodway thanks the pups for building the lighthouse, she and Greatway bond over Grandpa Gravel's Sister Soup before joining the crew, Cap'n Turbot, Mr. Ducky Doo, and Chickaletta in a celebratory Wiggle and Wag dance.
