Synopsis
Out in the Bark Yard, Wheeler unloads his dump truck of various construction scraps he gathered from cleaning the crew's construction jobs. As the crew admire his collection, Motor plays on the scraps, which Mix deems unsafe and suggests building a skateboard with the leftover scraps instead. The crew then head over to the Saw Station where they build and customize a piece of wood into a skateboard. Once the board is finished, Auntie Crane appears and shows off her skateboarding skills, surprising the pups.
While Auntie Crane shows Motor how to skateboard, Grandpa Gravel takes the rest of the crew to the Crane Tower, where he reveals that Auntie Crane use to be a skateboarding champion on the Bark Screen. After learning of her skateboarding skills, Mix comes up with the idea to gift her the skateboard as a surprise, but Grandpa Gravel informs her that Builder Cove has no skate park for her to skate in. Fortunately, Rubble comes up with the construction solution to build a skate park for her, and the crew agree to build it in the park just before Auntie Crane returns with Motor, wondering what they are all discussing. The crew quickly conjure up a lie about building a duck pond, but Auntie Crane finds the idea to be fun and offers to help them build it. To keep her away from their true building project, Grandpa Gravel fibs about her promising to help him bake a cake.
With Auntie Crane now distracted, the crew head over to Builder Cove's park where they begin to dig a large hole for the base of the skate park. Once the hole is deep enough, Mix whips up a batch of quick-dry cement and blasts it in, only to realize that a family of ducks are wandering inside of it. Quickly, Mix leaps out of her vehicle, hitting the lever to her mixer in the process, and rescues the ducks with her hardhat as the cement blasts out of control. Rubble then carries them out of the hole in his vehicle's scoop just before the cement fills up.
Though everyone came out safe, the skate park is ruined from the rough, bumpy blobs of cement blasted from Mix's cement mixer. Mix feels terrible for the situation, but after receiving reassurance from the crew and seeing Rubble accidentally ride the skateboard they built earlier, she comes up with the idea to rebuild the skate park using scraps from the Bark Yard. However, due to Auntie Crane baking the cake with Grandpa Gravel there, the crew are forced to quietly sneak in and out to retrieve the scraps.
Once Wheeler's truck is loaded, the crew return to the park where they finish rebuilding the skate park using the scraps. After Mix gives the skate park one of her makeovers as a final touch, Auntie Crane, alongside Grandpa Gravel and Motor, arrives, pleasantly surprised to see the skate park instead of a duck pond, which she initially thought the pups were building. She thanks them and changes into her old skateboard outfit before showing off her skateboarding skills. Afterwards, everyone celebrates with the five-layer skate cake Grandpa Gravel and Auntie Crane baked.
