"The Crew Builds a Tunnel" is the second segment of the 6th episode in Season 1 of Rubble & Crew.
Summary
Charger's favorite singer Sierra Sparkle is coming to town.

Synopsis
Out in the Bark Yard, while the crew are using the Smash Masher to create metal washers for Auntie Crane, Charger is singing and showing off his love for Sierra Sparkle, a singer who is performing at a concert in Builder Cove, which the pups will be attending. The crew then ride over to the park where they come across Grocer Gabriel, who they learn is the father of Sierra Sparkle. Shortly after, Gabriel receives a call from Sierra, who informs them of a fallen boulder blocking the road, preventing her bus from arriving to Builder Cove. The crew agree to help and ride off towards Sierra's location. After meeting her, Charger and Rubble use their vehicles to lift the boulder, but are unable to move it due to its enormous weight, so Rubble calls Motor for help.
Once Motor arrives, she uses her wrecking ball to smash the giant boulder numerous times, unaware of the other rocks starting to move, soon causing an avalanche. Some of the rocks nearly tumble towards Sierra, but Rubble saves her by catching them with his scoop.
With no way to go over or around the rocks, the pups think of a solution, which Mix comes up with after hearing Charger sing, and suggests they dig through the pile of rocks. The rest of the crew agree and plan to build a tunnel. After Wheeler calls Auntie Crane to bring supplies, Charger retrieves them with his crane and the crew get to work on the tunnel with Rubble, Wheeler, and Motor digging and removing the pile of rocks while Mix and Charger apply the metal washers they made earlier inside the tunnel to reinforce the walls in case of future avalanches.
As evening approaches, the crew finally finish the tunnel, allowing Sierra Sparkle's bus to pass through, and guide her to the concert. After reuniting with Grocer Gabriel, Sierra invites the pups on stage and together, they sing her first song, "I'm Looking for a Way Through".
