Synopsis
Out in the forest, Rubble & Crew, alongside Park Ranger Rose, are watching Crunchy in his natural habitat build another beaver dam. While searching for wood, Crunchy finds some on the other side of the road and crosses over it as cars quickly pass by. Worried for his safety, Park Ranger Rose, signals the vehicles to stop with her whistle while the pups set down traffic cones, allowing Crunchy to cross the road safely. However, this prevents the cars from passing through, so Rubble calls Juniper to help Crunchy cross without blocking traffic.
Shortly after the pups leave Juniper, she quickly grows tired from trying to keep up with Crunchy and his unpredictable patterns of crossing the street. With school about to start soon, which she must be present for, she calls the pups, who return and brainstorm a construction solution. Charger's suggestion of digging a tunnel under the road is turned down due to the risk of hitting tree roots, so the crew go with Mix's idea to build over it instead. Rubble then calls Auntie Crane, who, after accidentally startling the pups as they monitor Crunchy, brings them their construction supplies.
Afterwards, the crew get to work and build a beaver bridge over the road, creating a safe place for Crunchy to cross while also allowing the cars underneath to continue passing through. However, after approaching the bridge, Crunchy completely disregards it and continues to cross the road, ignoring the cars that drive by. The pups are confused about the situation until Park Ranger Rose returns, impressed with their work, and informs them that Crunchy doesn't understand what a bridge is due to it not blending in with his natural habitat. Fortunately, this gives Mix a construction solution, in which the pups build a forest on top of the bridge, turning it into a wildlife bridge.
Once its finished, several animals such as ducks, and even Wingsy, flock to the bridge, admiring its natural details. After Crunchy, who thoroughly observes the bridge with much hesitation, finally crosses it, the crew, along with Park Ranger Rose, rejoice and celebrate with a "Wiggle and Wag".
