"The Crew Builds an Ice Cream Shop" is the first segment of the 3rd episode in Season 1 of Rubble & Crew.
Summary
When a windy day derails construction on an ice cream shop, Rubble and Crew are on the chase.

Synopsis
With the Bark Yard running low on gravel, Rubble and Wheeler load up some big rocks into Wheeler's truck and dump them onto the Crane Tower's Smash Masher. After they finish, Café Carl stops by to announce a new ice cream flavor he calls, "Carl-berry Burst Crumble" and that he will be serving free ice cream to everyone in Builder Cove for the day.
The pups head over to Main Street for the free ice cream, but are stopped by the long line of people waiting to get theirs. Seeing how overwhelmed Café Carl is running his ice cream cart by himself, the crew agree to build Café Carl an ice cream shop and return to the Bark Yard to gather supplies.
After receiving their supplies from Auntie Crane, the pups return to Main Street and get to work with Rubble and Charger building the ice cream shop while Mix and Wheeler build a fake giant ice cream cone and scoop to put on top of it. However, just as the crew begin securing it on the roof, the wind picks up and blows the scoop away.
The crew chase after it throughout Builder Cove until Rubble attempts to stop it from crashing into some kids crossing the street. However, he accidentally launches it into the air with his bulldozer and it continues to roll through the streets. Fortunately, this gives Rubble to catch up with it and launch it again into Wheeler's truck.
After securing the scoop, the pups finish the rest of the construction for the ice cream shop. With Rubble and his family's help, Café Carl officially opens the ice cream shop and serves ice cream to the residents of Builder Cove.
